The opponent in the first duel was playing with the click yes turbo mentality but this was one of the 1 in 5 times they draw a good hand in their 60 card branded deck. They definitely lose a lot more duels than they win, but I guess after those blowouts they are happy.
In my experience 40 card branded started to brick a lot more than 60 with the limit on fusion. I'm currently having a better time with 60 card branded bystial, the only thing missing is my playset of thrust
I have to defend the Branded player from chat, he didn't play so bad, in fact Josh had to have exactly the 2nd copy of Happy memory in that situation and probably the opponent was thinking: "Ok, Purrely 1 card in hand, and I have Punishment to recycle Branded Fusion and win next turn"

Therefore, I'm decent at least, nothing special but I'm not a total noob. Your first duel against 60-carder inspired me to comment. I think people are cheating in this game so so badly. How the hell almost EVERY OPPONENT I play (especially in master rank) has a perfect hand? Like, people are playing some cancerous stuff, 50+ card decks, mixture of everything, and they always have a hand trap, a counter to my hand trap and a full combo. EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's insane. People with huge decks are drawing limited to 1 cards like it's nothing. Is there some cheats or apps that are allowing players to have pre-made hands or what? (maybe in Asia so our community has no idea about it?) I know this sounds crazy and I can be biased for sure, but it started happening on a daily basis, and it is still going on. No exceptions. No bricks. I know it's a card game so luck takes a big role in it, but my hands are bricky so often. I know what RANDOM means and this ain't it I swear. If I play gammas, I draw driver 50% of time. If I go second I can't find my 12+ hand traps. How come my opponents can't get bamboozled like that? Does anyone have similar experience or am I going nuttie nuttie!?:D
Confirmation bias. The 1 in 10 games that piss you off stand out a lot more than the 9 in 10 games that don’t. You feel you’re being cheated so the games that make you feel like that is true are the ones you focus on but all the games that show it’s not true you ignore or forget about.
I have a master's degree in psychology, I am familiar with many biases and I am very well awere of them. The point is that I literally have an objective data (replays, match history, I'm writing down hands etc.) about this issue, and while I'm writing this, the same thing is happening to me. I guess I'm cursed (scientific explanation right). Anynways, apparently it's just me so who cares, I guess 'random' means you can get shafted 20 days in a row and then win some games :)@@jk844100

Thing is branded is super easy like that. Its got lots of routes. I built this for the event. No idea what im doing and i skittled a lot of people. If you just slam a bunch of dogmatika and branded stuff together you can cheese a win for sure
That Branded player was actually pretty good outside of that play. And it ended up not being that bad since they got Branded Fusion back with the Retribution
i dont know if this is a bug but i was playing a ninja mirror and i had art of freezing on the field and my opponent used shogun effect and md allowed his monster to change battle positions despite my trap saying otherwise and i lost because of it
@@Aerevas to be fair however, the enemy had CD on a 60 card deck. On hindsight, gamma on albion is better than Ash, but at the moment, who wouldn't wanna resolve Maxx C on turn 0?
the secret to playing branded is just playing 60 and opening the singleton branded fusion each time

Wait, on game 1 isn't the enemy right to play ash first instead of crossout to play around imperm? Why is Ash considered better to keep in hand?
Because it would have a use against the opponent on the next turn, unlike crossout.

I think it only prevents manual changes in battle position. If the battle position would be changed by a card effect it doesn’t stop that.
