    As a person with depression, it really angers me that this guy would try to use it as an excuse to justify his actions. This is how negative stereotypes about people with mental illnesses are perpetuated. There are a lot of people in the world who think that the mentally ill are automatically 'bad' or 'dangerous' because of guys like this who want to use it as an excuse for their shitty behaviour.

      I have a friend who was a victim of her biological father from age 6-12. He was finally prosecuted when she was 16 or so. He got out of prison when she was 24. She visited him in prison, she talks and works with the man now.
      When I talk to her about it she bounces from agreeing with me about castration or straight up lethal injection to these people, to how it's hard because she's biased, and she gets her dad was a victim himself and has all these issues blablabladeefuckingblaa.
      I hate him, and I hate how my friend is ruined for life, and I hate how she forgives him. Her brother has the sickness, her grandfather had it. Much evidence points to pedophilia and rape to be hereditary the same way trauma can be. I hate it. And I hate any excuses these dumb chodes have. At the very least, admit you have a problem and you know you need to be locked away for life or killed. Otherwise you will 90% certain continue to ruin others lives. FOREVER.

      @@aydadae7337 Its really kinda bad to say someone is ruined for life because they have been abused. It implies no one can recover or have a life after that which isnt true.
      It sounds like her father is extremely manipulative and being abused from such a young age really warps your identity and how you relate to people and how you view relationships. Its a fkn tragedy.
      She needs a lot of therapy with a specially trained therapist without that sadly its unlikely she can break free. Its like trauma bonding if you know what that is.
      Of course on the outside it makes no sense but please try not to criticise her(im not saying you do obv i dont know your relationship) just know that she has been damaged and inside a lot of her understanding is still childlike and fragile.

      You clearly understand nothing about mental illness then. Severe depression can do all kinds of things to a person. Depression is not the direct cause, but literally anyone can be pushed into doing crazy horrible things.

People can be pushed to all sorts of insane and horrible things, inclusion abuse, suicide, murder, really horrible things from severe depression and other issues. The human mind is complex and can do all sorts of strange things when warped by mental illness. For all I know the guy was a predator born and he may be just fated to be like this, even so, therapy and treatment for that condition can lessen the chance of a offense.
      I'm not defending the actions. I do think a life is a life though, and it is our duty to do whatever is possible to set it right. Failing that, just don't make things worse. Ie : Laying hatred, ignorance, and throwing the jail system at it - which only tends to make people like this worse. Treatment is key if you actually care about children as you claim.
      If you're answer is to just hate, then you either A are too wrapped up in a sense of righteous self indulgence that you can't understand, which is fair I suppose, or B you're just plain a bad person who would rather see people disposed of then helped or treated.

      Even IF he is actually suffering with bipolar (which tbh, I think he just made up for sympathy), and even IF his condition played any part in this encounter, he's still accountable and responsible for his actions. Especially given that he's allegedly fully aware of his condition and receiving treatment for it. So sick of people using mental health to excuse bad behavior. It only further creates a negative stigma around it, which only hurts those who do suffer with mental health issues. They're normal people just like everyone else. In fact, majority of those suffering from mental health issues live completely mediocre, normal, everyday lives just like anyone else. They don't deserve to feel like outcasts cuz some criminal aholes, especially online "influencer" aholes (i.e. Gabby Hanna, trysha paytas, shane dawson, etc) use mental health issues like they're accessories to flaunt, victim cards to pull, etc.

The fact that he is blaming these actions on something that is difficult to even be tangentially related is really gross, and furthers the ideology that stigmatizes/demonizes people suffering with mental illness regardless of how tame. Its truly disappointing

    • @TheJefferyKiller
      @TheJefferyKiller 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@wolf2966 not the person you want an answer from, but in my experience it's in our blood as animals that rely on judgment and perception to quantify safety of an area/situation to include factors such as representation. Being able to preemptively judge what is a safe versus unsafe situation based on visual clues is what allowed us to survive this long, so it's imperative to how we operate. Its only recently that we have adapted physical appearance or trademarks to define who we are in a sect or define/express our individuality, so of course it's only in our nature to be skeptical of those who do not fit within our pre-determined box of what we deem "safe". I could make this into a whole lecture, and I know i'm already bordering on that, but basically, it is coded within our nature to automatically judge someone or something based on appearance whether it is subconscious or deliberate. Personally, I wear and do whatever it is I feel comfortable doing that expresses who I am, but I am also aware of the reactions it may generate from others who see it as a "threat" or "unconventional" and thus have negative opinions. Bottom line, people judge for everything and that's totally normal even if theyre assholes, but if you're going to express yourself in any way that goes against the grain you have to be ready to deal with that and not take things too personal because it's only in our blood to judge.

    I bet this guy does want to be a cop...Is there a better job in the mind of a predator than one that gives you unchallenged authority, the ability to get a very young girl alone repeatedly every day, and a badge to hide behind? That is the most terrifying thing this guy could have said.

    I don’t get why the predators say “I knew this would happen…knew it was a set-up” as what is dumber than “knowing” something is a child predator sting, and deciding you really want a piece of that and showing up.
