Thanks I understand much better than a lot of other tutorials . I've come to hate the hobby that I loved so much because of this push clutch setup. The hobby shops and racing clubs in my area gives no support to new comers I guess it's a New York thing everyone's an A hole

Thanks on the tutorial, explained very well. Would appreciate if you can recommend where to get the grip pliers with soft rubber/plastic lining that you used to open the flywheel. Have been scouring all the industrial tool makers and cant find a match.

What's a bit maddening to me is that the Capricorn manual from their website seems to label the shims opposite of what this video is telling me. The manual pages 43-45 labels "endplay shims" the ones he is using for gap adjusting shims. And, the manual calls "gap adjust shims" the ones he is using for endplay shims. I followed the manual's method, and it seems to have worked. I like the video's method better, though- a little more straightforward!

How can the gap stay the same after you unscrew the spring adjuster nut out? that would change the end gap... no???

Guille T - The end gap would change only if you unscrew the spring adjuster nut out past the end of the flywheel nut, since the shims there come to rest against the end of the flywheel nut (not against the spring adjuster nut). When the spring adjuster nut is loosened the correct amount, there is a 0.5 -0.7 mm distance still to go before it gets to the end of the flywheel nut- that's the last distance he's measuring toward the end of the video ( starting around 19:50).
