Lovely little car, and a lucky new owner. It wouldn't be my first choice, as I need a hatchback, but I can easily see the endearing qualities of a car like this.
Dad had an early one B reg I think , lots of fond memories of days out at the seaside. Never broke down. All went well until the rear floor started to gave way as they did. 😢
Enjoy it. I did my 2 door '71 Austin America (1100) when I was in college in the 1980's. Fun to drive, and when those rare ice storms hit Texas, my trusty Hurribox got the task of getting anyone to work who had to go in.
I done my driving test in one crunchy gearbox and all. I was tankful the driving inspector understood it was the car gearbox and not me crunching gears 48 years ago lol 😁😁👍👍
