Question, can I separate the panels into individual groups? Like can I do 5 on one side and 5 on another all with the same 10-ct pack? Would greatly appreciate an answer, thinking of picking this up today while it’s on sale!

I haven't tried the grey version but I would expect them to give off the same amount of light. If there is a difference, I don't think it would be noticeable to the naked eye.

Would probably have to do some DIY wiring to do that as they must be connected to the one power source which is also the controller.

All depends on your preference. They work exactly the same.
