I came across your channel recently and I am so totally hooked. Honest reviews with praises and high recommendation for restaurants with good food and tactful yet reserved for the bad ones.
You brought me to places and restaurants which I hv never been before and eating those food that you ate.. all through the lens of the phone.
Even feel full and overwhelmed by all those food later🤣.
There was one unforgettable video where both of you reviewed 11 plates of fried rice from various restaurants in one day.. 😂
Those fried rice is enough to last me for a week and so are the nasi lemak here.

This is a very thorough review of nasi lemak. 9 Nasi Lemak 👍. Evaluate from all angle; Price, Rice, Sambal, Chicken, Condiments & Environment. You are truly a professional nasi lemak eater/evaluator. I always wanted to try the Kampung Baru nasi lemak but ended up eating at Village Park because of its consistency in taste and convenience (location, opening hours, parking and aircon). After watching your video, I realized that sticking to Village Park is right. My record in Village Park is ta-pow 12 packs of nasi lemak. Perhaps next time I will give "Say Yes" a try.

Village Park is good. It is just that it is not convenient for me to go that often. Wanjo is easy access from Kampung Baru LRT station. May I know what MRT feeder bus goes to Village Park?

Your stomach is super stretchable, made of rubber, able to eat 9 nasi lemak in one morning. Thanks again for another great food review. I have eaten in 7 of the 9 shops, and agree with you the top is Village Park which I have patronise since they had one small shop front.

Yes, I also agree that Village Park is undefeated. Fun fact about "nasi lemak shop" is that it same company as Ali, Muthu, ah hock, so if don't want to queue go to AMA can also.

yea Burung Hantu is really good, especially their fried chicken is the only one gave me “wow” effect. Not to mentioned the basmathi rice, not very much nasi lemak having that.
I always visit the subang branch, always crowded but all staff are friendly! Unlike the others are mostly bangla workers😂

I think I have to revisit Village Park again cos somehow Say Yes stole my heart and I kept going back to Say Yes lol. The Nasi Lemak shop is nice but the queue is horendous!

@ Nick, I think we both like similar sambal, Ratha Raub’s sambal is just as good but they charge 1.50 if not having it with their Nasi Lemak. I don’t mind cos they use quite a lot of ikan bilis and onions.

Hey, that back lane nasi lemak, next to people house's toilet, next to the smelly longkang is average only. Their std is not even close to those big boys reviewed in the video (except 233 Green label 😀).
Nolar, it is just average. People go there because it is cheap. I have been taking this Bumbung for more than 25 years before they went into the back lane.
hi there, we did tried bumbung sometimes ago, it was ok, the fried chicken is unique with indian spices. one reason we didn't cover this time is because they only open from 4pm. may be next time, we do a night version 😄

The current chef at say yes was used to work at village park before. Overall, say yes served with fresher condiments( anchovies with more crunchy; chilled cucumber) and add on Sambal without charge, most importantly their chicken taste quite similar with VP

One of the best nasi lemak I've had in Klang valley was in an Indian restaurant in mont Kiara. The accompaniments were not typical. It has sambal, vegetables, tempeh, egg and a freaking fragrant rice. It was all beautifully plated. Unfortunately this was a long time ago and I've not been back to that area for a really long time and can't remember whose place it was. Might have been Kumar's?

Thank you so much, very comprehensive. That is the correct way to evaluate, I do the same method too. Not mix everything. In term of price, I dislike Burung Hantu the most, all the add on is so expensive even add sambal has to pay. Furthermore, no air-cond with cut throat prices.
The massive traffic jam in Tanglin is not because of nasi lemak, it is the ikan bakar and 'halal' Chinaman kopitiam.
i saw they grilled so many ikan! too bad i was doing nasi lemak reviews, or else i would have tried it, may be next time! 😱

For Wanjo to charge additional RM1 per person to sit in the aircond area is ridiculous. anyway, Wanjo is overrated. the chicken is dry and the nasi lemak doesn't have much santan fragrance. My Malay friend from Perak told me no need to bring him there anymore after just one experience.

VP is d worse n only accept hard cash n taste normal, BH even more worse , expensive n taste very very normal. TL is more kind of traditional nasi lemak. EL Ehsan is good but additional sambal need to pay so not going to visit. Nasi lemak 223 is good I think the blue color suit ur taste as u can’t handle spicy food 😅. YES is must more better than VP. Anyway very good work

Will look forward to the Chinese nasi lemak reviews. Chinese nasi lemak gets better over time while Malay nasi lemaks seems to get worst over time. Wanjo, Tanglin, red chop, blue chop, frankly speaking, all not that nice.
Chinese nasi lemak can never be better than Malay nasi lemak. When I see Chinese selling, I don't eat, being disappointed too many times in the past. But the owner of Village Park is a Chinese Muslim. How?
