  • Mountain bike from dalsnibba to Geiranger and some kayaking on the fjord. Geiranger is a small tourist village in Sunnmøre in the municipality of Stranda in Møre og Romsdal county, in the western part of Norway. It lies at the head of the Geirangerfjord, which is a branch of the Storfjord. The nearest city is Ålesund. Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet. Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Seven Sisters waterfall is located just west of Geiranger.[2] Norwegian national road 63 passes through the village.

How nice - one of the two Cyclists standing right at the bottom looking to "Mein Schiff 2" at 5:48 is actually me :-). I was the Biking Manager aboard for several seasons and had the fortune to ride up- and downhill the Dalsnibba a total of 20 times between 2007 and 2015. And I got actually paied for doing that - how lucky can one be.
Glad to have found your video here and thanks for the memory. All the best and greetings from Potsdam.

Spectacular view from Dalsnibba, and one heck of a trip up and down! We were there in '10, and loved the whole area.

Hi Martin! Sorry it wasn't me because first I biked up that hill, and wouldn't be able to carry another person with me. Even though I'm a nice guy :)

Hi there. I just remembered that last summer I was hitchhiking from Flydalsjuvet to Dalsnibba and some nice guys took me. Two of them went downhill and made a movie. Was it you by any chance? :)

@HD1340b Hey Stuff! It sure is :) & GoPro HD cameras are very good. But don't you do any downhill skiing? You really should! It would make great videos :) Especially off piste runs (if you can :P)

Hurry up.Because in 10 or 20 years from now, one of the mountains around Geiranger will collapse into the fjord. Destroying Geiranger and other small village along the fjords. And this is not a joke, its a fact, its happen before and it will happen again. Åkerneset mountains is the one that they believe will collapse because one big gap in the mountain side is getting bigger for every year. So save up and do not delay :P
