I used to fish all those spot in the 90s but left move to Oahu !! What I learned on all those spot is to set hook free spool let the fish run about 150 yards hold it there till it gets tired then you can real it in you will know when it's already tired my crew was called the pali pounder !! If you know Kama Neizmen go talk to him he called smoking dog

@@JJETAS Mahalos for the advice🤙🏽 we try to let it run for a little before setting hook with the drag little bit loose. Free spooling it while they run doesn’t work out for us that much if the fish run too fast😂 we definitely keep that in mind tho 💯
