Inaugurated in 1998, the Disney Magic blends classic elegance with modern amenities, creating an enchanting atmosphere that captures the hearts of Disney fans of all ages. The Disney Magic exudes an Art Deco elegance that echoes the golden age of ocean travel. Step aboard and be greeted by a grand staircase adorned with twinkling chandeliers, a shimmering mosaic of seashells, and the iconic "Helmsman Mickey" statue, a symbol of the ship's welcoming spirit. The Disney Magic is a haven for kids of all ages, with a variety of supervised clubs and activities designed to spark their imaginations and keep them entertained. At the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, kids can participate in themed activities, explore scientific wonders, and make new friends. great video! Just went on Disney Magic in June and we had a really good time. It's definitely geared more toward children and families. We took my niece and 3 nephews, they loved it.

Such a great cruise video, Chris!! My family loves taking cruises every other year or so for the holidays, in particular Christmas time. We've never tried Disney so it was interesting to see you your video and how different is from other cruise liners we've tried. I would be really interested if you're going to make more in-depth videos like the room tour or 'things to know' sort of guide

I am huge Disney fan (even a DVC owner)AND I am a huge cruise fan, but I have never been on a Disney cruise. I can't see why that is 4x more expensive than NCL and I don't even get a drink package.
One day, I will find a great sale and try it out.

Just got off the Disney Wonder this morning which is the sister ship to the Magic. They are so similar with just a few name changes for the bars. Great tour. Thanks Chris.

I was wondering what ship Disney was going to replace the Wonder with for the winter season since Wonder is now in Australia…while it’s always nice that San Diego has regular cruise options, I just wish that Disney Cruise line used a ship that was more Disabled friendly…neither Wonder nor Magic are particularly wheelchair friendly (especially the TINY elevators!) led to a frustrating experience for my wife and I on the Wonder in December, 2022…(although I’m pleasantly surprised that the Magic has the “hand wave” thing that opens some of the doors as Wonder does not)
Yeah.. all the doors had the hand wave. But the elevators are so so tiny!

You shouldn't feel betrayed 😀... we did a 2 night cruise out of San Diego.. the shortest cruise possible really so we could "try" a Disney Cruise.

I was on the Ensenada 2 night cruise... one port stop only... it was last weekend
Oh we left last Monday. Did not know there was a 2 Night Cruise. We had a 5 Night 6 Day Cruise.

I went on a cruise once and had an uneasy feeling the whole time. Like I was in jail. I'm just not a cruise type person I guess.
This was a 2 night cruise.. too short to get that feeling 😀
