Beautiful, mysterious work! Which brand(s) of oil pastels are you using? The lighter colors in my Sennelier and Caran d' Ache sets will not cover my darks, you seem to have no issue with this with what you're using!
Many thanks for your kind words about my work! I use Holbein oil pastels and RIVES BFK printmaking paper which holds the pastel and allows for blending colors more effectively. Only Holbein OP seem to achieve my desired results.
