This is a complete makeover. Some years back there was nothing but meat packing plants. I believe there were two night clubs one on lake street close to halsted and one on halsted and fulton. Mostly black and Hispanic in those times. This is gentrification to the fullest.

The only things that attracted people to the West Loop were the Bulls and Oprah. I only recognized the area from the flower pots in the street lol. It's wild to see the difference from 10 years!
