Honestly, we should band together and file a class action lawsuit. I am a marketer too, and I have ad accounts that I'm the sole owner of. I use Facebook ads for a living, and I shouldn't have to create multiple accounts to do my job.
I have the same issue, its been almost 2 weeks of trying everything. I am now on contacting the privacy team, this blows, Facebook needs to fix this ASAP.
Same problem has happened. All of sudden there was an email notifying me that I have been hacked and It show me my email has been changed!!! I did try to get back to my account and this Two Factor Authentication has occurred. Since I had logged out from my all device there was no way to get that damn code. Seems I do need to give up on my Facebook account!!! It is so frustrating
Very frustrating situation! It's incredibly infuriating that despite being able to change your password through Identity verification, Facebook continues to send the authentication code to an obsolete mobile number. It feels like an endless loop of going back to square one with no progress. Surely, there must be someone at Facebook who can communicate with their users and provide a solution, just like numerous other apps have done. It's high time they address this issue and find a resolution!

I have the same problem. I've been trying since Dec 19. I still have access to my email, but it just allows me to change my password but still goes back to that Code Generator screen. Then today, Dec 23, my account has been disabled on Facebook. It says Facebook User not found. So I let my friends check my profile, the landing page says "This content is not available at the moment" Can you relate to this? Any leads on how to fix it? Thanks!
yes but mine is bc my acoount is hacked and like you said all fb has are articles which I've done all those and still get in bc it comes back to the code generator which does not work and I can't get in. would really appreaciate some help if anyone can please

Mine was "disabled" before I even knew there was a problem! I have gained a little insight from an earlier video by another publisher...it was still a very full list of tasks you must do, but basically gets you to the level of privacy policy questioning...as it must be illegal to withhold YOUR/MY personal info from YOU/ME, and by offering no help, basically its what is being done. Can you imagine, security provisions so effective that the only one who can recover YOUR account is the HACKERS?? Capitalism in American! Thanks FACEBOOK/META!! 😤🤬!

My young son deleted the two-factor authentication application, and I do not know that a backup copy must be taken. There must be awareness, notifications and alerts, or sending backup codes to your private email. Now I am in trouble, all my work is stopped

That's frustrating. The reps I talked to said it is an autenticator app issue. So I guess they won't be able to help us log back in.

Everytime I put the security code in my facebook, it always pops up the message "We are working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can"
Hmm I haven't had that before, I think the issue is with the integration of the authentication app and the Facebook login interface

I have that same problem and didn't use Facebook since 2020.
I think the best option is to re-create a new account. Then you can request from the reps to have access to your business manager assets.
