This looks completely different to my experience. When I move the camera in large models, all edges disappears and Solid Edge is calculating something for a sec. I have never seen such behavior in any other CAD system. It is quite annoying when mouse scroll wheel is used.
Hi @mateuszjakubowski9924 -- This is not expected behavior for Solid Edge - it's highly regarded as having great large assembly performance capabilities. We would recommend contacting your local Solid Edge Partner so they can work with you to improve your Solid Edge large assembly experience. Thanks! Team Siemens
Hi@@SiemensSoftware , thanks for the reply! I did that and they said that is typical SE behavior. I made a video (see below) a few years ago that shows a 1-second delay before the camera or model transitions. After the delay, the movement is very smooth. You can see there that I pressed SHIFT or CTRL, the mouse pointer still moves, but the model hangs for one second. th-cam.com/video/2GnwJK44Oh8/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/GxYSe_--_ZE/w-d-xo.html

Very well explained and good examples...true innovation.
Merci encore
Good explanation...
This shit looks cool.
