Hello ! Chote, insulated wire connectors (12:00) ke DONO SIDES mein copper wire solder karne ki kya zaroorat hai ??? Kya wire ka resistance naa ke barabar nahi hota hai ???
While balance charging and discharging it will save the cells
Because current always flow through easy path
So it will provide better flow of current

But
for less than 10 amps DC one side shunt is very, very sufficient.

Vipow battery is for diy only, it's mah is not 3000. It's was less than 1200 mah. There is a video reviewing these batteries and checking mah with mah checker circuit.
Always go for premium batteries for longer life.
it's just a educational video. for better performance you can go for samsung or Panasonic cells that will cost about 300-500 per cell

3000 mah kaa 18650 model kaa lithium cell nahi hota . 2600 mah jo hai wo hain original .
Chalega.....perelelme tin lagado bahut A hojayega.
Bro I literally too have Vipow battery they claim 2600 mah or 3300mah but it's not true sadly😢 I brought 2 set of each containing 3 pair.
I tested with nitecore 18650 charger and skyrc imax b6 both came same nearly 400-700mah😅.
I send the photo as proof to the shop keeper he too got sad😔.
Actually they could have gave above 2000mah but since battery are stored to sellers or retailers where they literally don't get time to charge each cell so do their capacity reduces. It never stay same.
Secondly bro you should use spot weld. Because this type of battery are usually recycled cadmium batteries. They add cadmium liquid to this cell and recycle. The worst part is the internal positive which is connected is made of very thin foil.
I cut opened 5 duplicate 18650's will not recommended doing.
If you use high temperature soldering iron if the contact will break then once and gone for ever.
Their are many cheap portable spot weld atleast try them(Check review before buying cheap can be worst but at some point can be gold).
Finally the output will be 11.1vdc(3.7vdc for each cell) to 12.6vdc(4.2vdc for each cell when it will be full) which you can't charge with a normal charger because normal the charging voltage of scooter or adapter will go 14.2vdc not recommend for this bms.
1st scenerio the bms will smell fishy and go boom.
2nd scenerio the connecting wire will melt.
3rd the battery won't burst but will be dead.
So 18650 is not recommended for replacement of scooters or ups battery😅 sadly but this is truth😂.

Saldly I have a 12v 2.5ah bike battery same size, probably a agm battery.
That needed the same recovery. That got old but have no replacement in local shops.
I thought of doing the same process 2yrs before with 18650 but as per calculation the charging chemistry process is dangerous.
See all I am sharing knowledge nothing toxic.
At first thought of connecting 4 18650 to bms but that would give me 3.75vdc x4nos = 15vdc direct damage of electronics at 4.12vdc x4 =16.48vdc relay coil will be fried🤣.
Then thought why not use diode to drop the charging voltage?
A diode will drop voltage to 1.5v but charging voltage is 13.8vdc to 14.20vdc then we get 12.3vdc to 12.7vdc perfect for charging 3s your model.
Only if you put rectifier after the bridge rectifier then only it can be used on bikes else not.
I will prefer not lithuim ion 18650's but a lithium iron phosphate 4s battery will give 12.8vdc to 14vdc

I preferred not to play with the charging chemistry and went with simple and the effective process of recovering.
Later I removed the previous acid, washed internal plates by hot water and baking soda let it dry Saturday and Sunday. Finally used some old battery acid(fill 3/4th battery capacity) which I collected from old big inverter batteries and used 12v while keeping the caps opened of each cells(for fumes to escape else may blow) with 2 volt peak @ 12khz square waves at a duty cycle of 9 to 10% to recondition the plates for alreast 4 hours. Battery acid became to boil and it battery got hot.
I disconnected the function generator and then i let it to cool for 2hrs.
Then i put back all the caps finally glued the top cap with feviquick.
Now I gave it for normal charging yes now the battery gives sparks while connecting to charger got recovered.
Battery acid rejuvenating process is tricky and dangerous.
I will prefer to buy new battery if I am new to this process.
Battery acid can cause skin burn or even injuries. While acid be boiling it's highly not recommend to watch it boil with bare naked eyes can cause permanent eye damage. It was smelling like rotten eggs very rough and harsh smell bad for lungs. Hence process should be done in very well ventilated area.
Be cautious while charging anything should not fall inside the battery.
Always perform this experiment with proper equiments and always under expert supervision.
I did before several times hence i am expert myself😅.
Don't light matches or sparks while the acid is boiling. It releases hydrogen gas which is flamable to small sparks.
If the acid spills out while boiling take out some acid from the battery. Wipe the area with cotton swab if acid is in contact to metal will immediate start corrosion.
If acid get touched to skin immediate rinse the area with soap. Prefer use surgical gloves while doing with batteries.
