I didn't realize you were bay area until you mentioned San Jose. I knew all of this stuff already but I like seeing how other people do their thing. Guess you earned yourself another sub!
I think I’ve been to your store. Great info btw. I used to live in the Bay Area but recently moved to the Portland Oregon area and those rivers are loaded with sturgeon.
That was great, simple and easy to understand! Thank you....
Im Glad You Enjoyed!
Been in that area so many times, never knew it was open. What are the hrs?

I envy you brotha. I bet the water they're swimming in up there is a hell of a lot cleaner than the bay lol tight lines to you
Does it matter that the barrel swivel longer side is facing towards the leader? I was told that, but or does it matter?
I believe its personal preference. However I always do it this way.
Would 3 oz work?
What pound test do you run for leader?
Cool vid, just don’t use that clinch knot with braid. Has a tendency to slip
Thank you my guy ! I will keep that in mind for sure, appreciate the tip
Palomar knot all day every day.
Where are you located?
The Bay Area, Ca
Hey brother where is your shop at
This was filmed at HMB sportfishing and Tackle in Halfmoon Bay Ca
Is this rig only for sturgeon?
No, I use this same rig with some slight variations for stripers as well
Use circle hooks
