1. Reduce the purchasing power of the people ( ie Make the people poorer)
2. Further slow down the economy ( higher inflation, increase unemployment, shutdown factories) and,
3. Widen the tax net ( lay more burden on an already impoverished, inflation burden, unemployed burden population)

I haven’t heard such a hypocritical speech in a long time. What is the value in a speech when his antecedents has never aligned for the good of the people? How much of what he said does he actual believe and challenged PMB to achieve? After 4 years, he has now awoken to ideas that all should have been implemented. For example, it is now that he remembered about power privatization instead of 2015! As late Fela said, “many leaders as you see them, are animal in human skin!” Nigerians will keep wasting time listening to Tinubu and having amnesia when it comes to Tinubu’s godfatherism and how he has contributed to bloodletting of our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers. Let’s hope he doesn’t own all of Lagos with Babajide Sanwolu. May God save Nigeria 🇳🇬
