We’ll done, thanks! I tend to bring way too many tools but you never know what you may be called on to do, whether your own equipment or a fellow traveler.

I agree. My tendency is to overload the 'good' storage I have....that's why I hesitate to improve my storage by too much....my biggest problem is not having an entire set of duplicate tools...I 'steal' from the camper set when I'm home and don't return it.....every trip I have discovered something different that never made it back, and was needed...

This is a great run down of tools. You can definitely tell that Steve has been in situations where he has needed almost every one of these tools at some point. The only thing I didn’t catch you mention was zip ties….

The zip ties are there...between the tape and parachute cord....I have extra heavy ones...about 1/4" wide and 10" long....the bag is kind of translucent so they are hard to see....

@@WorkingOnExploring ok I figured you had them. Also where do you source the stainless mechanics wire?

I've had that roll since I was in the Army which means it's more than 30 years old so I can't recall where I got it. Amazon seems to have a variety....this seem about right...Motorcycle Annealed Stainless Steel Safety Mechanics Wire .030mm x 50' foot roll a.co/d/ewRbeXI

What brand and model is the handheld oscilloscope ?

Owon HDS242....dual channel 20Mhz.. ..it's the low end model (without frequency generator) lacks some upper voltage range but most of what I use it for is less than 30V also works well as a DMM.
