@@adsadam1Joey infortunately had the bad habit to speed up most of their songs live. He just couldn't help it. I appreciate bangers like Get This and Eeyore (just 2 examples) way more now that Eloy plays them in their original tempo. JJ remains a legend tho. Just not my thing in a live setting with the band he created.
@@freddylimpster7137 I don't think I've ever paid attention to that for older Slipknot gigs, but then again I did instantly think of when JJ played with Korn at Rock Am Ring and the whole thing was way too fast, so definitely sounds right. Im seeing them in london!! My dad has been to multiple concerts and this one hes takingt me too is a birthday gift i also grew up with slipknot im so excited 🎉
Missing out on this whole tour due to insufficient funds. Ah well, can watch this from the comfort of my home and have snacks and keep my hearing 😆 Thanks so much for the upload 🤘🤘
If anyone is curious, I believe they pause for a little longer at the end of the drum part of Only One because there were about 3-5 people who fell down in the pit at the same time, and it was tough to pick them all quickly. At least that's what I remember in the rush of it all. As soon as the security got a thumbs up from some in the area where people went down, Corey signalled to Eloy to start. But that might've just been lucky timing.
What a show! I was there and it was possibly the best gig I’ve ever been to! The sound, the crowd, the performances, and the atmosphere were all incredible! Great way to appreciate one of the greatest metal albums ever!
What a night this was!!! Was in the thick of it and the crowd were awesome. Slipknot sounded incredible - probably the best I've seen them! Thank you for uploading this!
Heading to the O2 on Saturday for the final show before Christmas. Bought the Heretic Anthem VIP tickets for my 14 year old daughter to see them for the first time... And she has no idea yet that we are going! She is going to piss her pants when she finds out on Friday night, 24 hrs before the show. But this will actually be my first time seeing Slipknot live too... My usual thing is Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest... Seen those plenty of times, here and in the US... But the truth is, I wasn't a Slipknot fan... Until I bought the tickets. For the last 4 months I have binged all the albums and any live concerts I can find on here, and now I'm a little bit addicted! Cory has a fkn amazing voice and the band just go hard AF. I am gonna be just as excited as my daughter on Saturday night, and we have amazing seats with a fantastic view of the stage. It will be an epic night!! \m/
Awh man she's gonna love it! I'm taking my son on Friday it's my first time going to a gig because I suffer from anxiety but between my son loving them, me growing up listening to them and this being a big one I can not say no lol. We travelling from northern ireland to see them in London.

Wow, I absolutely love this band 4th time seeing them in Leeds and never disapoint !! Have you ever saw the promark interview where Eloy said that asked him to play next to the tempo recorde in the albums? They are older and playing better than never, for me, because i appreciate the originals paces.
@PH.1692 I get they're older, but just speed it up a bit. Especially Purity, when they play it now, it sounds like they're on life support. Always preferred a faster tempo for Slipknot live. Increases the heaviness, and chaos.
@@TheBloodTheSteveTheBeersRight got it - seems a shame to not celebrate the highlights of the last 25 years but fair enough (get the “not Pyschosocial again” argument). How eloy is consistent from start to finish. Incredible.
SLipknot has never reached this level live before.
Slipknot really found the goat.
they did with joey

First time seeing them hope it’s not the last
Hahah tortilla 😂 6:50
Why didn't they do spit it out properly it's the main reason I'm going
because that's how they used to do it back in the day, with no middle part with Corey and crowd on floor
I'd question why that's the main reason you're going
I know most of their deep cut stuff but will we get songs like before I forget uno the more well known stuff as it’s the last night
What time did they come onstage?
