Nah, the shoes aren't exactly ones they own personally. They were borrowed. Not all shoes fit the same despite being the same size either due to manufacturing differences. For the most part the girls are using heels provided for by the designer (meaning there's not much regard for the fit). Behind the scenes, they're in a rush with a bunch of other models to change to rotate on time and A LOT of the time there isn't a lot of room in the back. Sometimes it's not very bright either or the lighting would disrupt the show, so it's not that weird if during the rush they couldn't get the shoe on right or whatever else.
In short, there's a lot of different factors for why a model might trip! As long as they don't get hurt and the pieces aren't damaged, all that matters =D

stxrdusty during most fashion shows they only have a few different sizes spanning all the shoes needed for the models so they can end up with shoes a size or two too big or small.
