That was a fantastic tour😁 Loved the two skeletons in the car all packed upward on top of their car on vacation☺️ I loved the assay office & H.W.'s house! Great video guys🌟⛏️👻
Thank you for the comment and watching this one! We discover more funky and super cool artwork on an upcoming video featuring the artist! Thank you for subscribing and have a great day ahead! T&S
Hi Monica, thank you so much for watching this one and wonderful comments! 🥰We hope you guys can visit here one day and also take in Wickenburg area, maybe golf there too! Cheers, Tom & Suzanne
Most interesting all these old buildings and what they were used for all the old equipment in the old townsite one can only imagine how people worked and lived the use of the old mine side for today’s uses make it also interesting for people that like old rustic settings.
Hey T&S - Nicely done video! The music selection, and editing is put together quite nicely. I like the funky artwork near the end of the video. Very creative. I sure hope the drone wasn't damaged!😮 Take care L&R
Hi L&R, thanks for the many compliments, much appreciated. 🙏. This place is like a walking museum and definitely has some funky unique creative art work. The drone was flying backwards and has no rear facing sensors, unfortunately it clipped a side of a building opening, all good, it survived. Btw, We have a follow up video coming soon on meeting the artist Ray Villafane, an American sculpture artist who is based out of Vulture City. Ray shares his story on creating the Bone Yard Mining Company and art studio along with his unique artwork. Pretty cool how we ran into him while we were exploring Vulture City. Take care and see you on the next one! Tom and Suzanne. 👋
Hi Tom,Suzanne this living museum was amazing and you did a really good explained tour, so good to see all of the exhibits and artifacts which all seem very well preserved. Those telephone wires were so good to see and that mine shaft was amazing and so was where they melted the gold bars. Church House was a good donation from I think you said the Presbyterian Church. Haha loved the bloopers . Great video guys :) ~ Anna 👍
Hi Anna, thank you for the lovely comments on the video! 🥰There's more to share from this adventure about the artist and the very creative artworks we found in his studio within Vulture Mine Site. We hope to have a video about this soon. Have a great day and we enjoy learning about Wales and culture, keep up the great work! Cheers, Tom & Suzanne
Ok when I first clicked on this I thought I made a mistake and I had to pause and re look and I laughed so hard. We made a video it was our longest trip continues at 2 harvest host and our opening is just like this one same music and we had places with similar roofs and looks so much a like. I was laughing so hard maybe we have more in common then we even imagined . So I lived in Pheonix Arizona for 5 years and never heard of this place. It looked very interesting we may have to add this to our Arizona visit. Neat little area with some history and stories. That was a good one when you said one may lead to another! LOL! Watching a little roll playing can be fun. They have to be warm in those outfits. Thanks for sharing looked like a fun day exploring.
Hi Jodi & Ron! Wow, we do have much in common! Phoenix is one of our go to places, we love it there. Vulture City was an old ghost town then purchased by a Canadian group who started on remediation of the site and buildings around 2014. Its an interesting place for history but yet kind of weird :) . Thanks so much for the wonderful comments and for watching this one! Have an amazing day and adventures ahead! T&S.
Hi guys! Thank you for coming along with us. Whenever you do visit Vulture City, allow lots of time to explore the many artifacts. We missed finding the cemetery, so perhaps you can find this on your visit. Please feel free to leave an update comment on your visit & experience. Tom & Suzanne
Love mining and the old west. Wonderful tour of Fulture City AZ. Funny blooper, Vulcan is a mining company. Love the name of the channel and it does remind me of an old west TV show Roy Rogers where they always sang happy trails to you at the end. Anyway, new here so greetings from Mike at that place. Hit the buttons for you. See ya
Hi Mike! Thank you for the kind words and watching this one. We are thrilled for the sub and comments on our channel name, that's cool. Thanks as well for the TH-cam love and we'll look forward to watching your channel. Have an amazing day! Tom & Suzanne
Outstanding video my friends. Thanks so much for taking us along with you. Chef John & Rebecca (Our Other Channel was HACKED) Have a Great week my friends
Hi John and Rebecca! Thank you for coming along with us, we are glad you enjoyed this adventure! 🥰🏔Have an amazing week ahead and see you on the next one! 👋Tom and Suzanne
Thanks very much for this video! I really wanted to take the tour here when I made an overnight stop in Wickenburg last spring, but it wasn't open when I was there. I made a note of the days they're open as I'm going to be visiting Wickenburg again in about a month. I will be sure to be there on one of the days that they're open!
Hi Raphael! Thank you very much for the nice words and we hope you get to enjoy Vulture City as much as we did. The staff are great there. So much to see. Be sure to check out the on site artist and Ray Valofane's studio at Bone Yard Mining Co located in the workshop building. Also we did another video interview with Ray telling his story about mining Vulture City artifacts to create some amazing unique magical sculptures on display. Here's the link to this video th-cam.com/video/hWVRZ4G9R4I/w-d-xo.html Enjoy! Tom & Suzanne
Thanks you guys! Yes, Vulture City is an interesting place for sure. Our next video is a spin off story at Vulture City on The Bone Yard Mining Company and its sculpture artist Ray Villifane who shares his story and unique funky sculptures from Vulture City artifacts. Hope you’re doing well and enjoying your adventures in Oregon!
Nice! The first video we watched on your channel last night and it is in Arizona 😊. We re currently planning a trip to Arizona for September. Not sure if if we're going this far south, but if we do then this will be on our ever expanding list of things to see. Thank you so much for sharing, we really enjoyed the video and bloopers are always fun 😊👍
Hi Michelle & Holger! Thank you wonderful comments, much appreciated 👏and also for following us with the sub. Those bloopers can be nutty and we seem to always have some retakes 🎬. Ps, let us know if you have any questions about Arizona. We love it there! Have a great next adventure and keep in touch! Tom & Suzanne👋
So what was it that made this place so weird? I’ve been there many times and “Weird” is not a word I would ever associate with this place. Please explain….
Hi Rebecca, thank you for coming along with us! We love your question. Vulture City is an amazing place and its long history contributing to the growth of AZ and mining is of historical importance. The weirdness comes from our view on how the site looks like today as compared to how it actually looked in its glory days. That, combined creative unique sculptures placed within Vulture City built by the Bone Yard Mining Company, makes it weird in a funny yet loving perception to us. Perhaps not for some. If you haven't already, please consider watching our follow up video about the artist and owner of Bone Yard Mining, Ray Villifane mining magic in Vulture City. th-cam.com/video/hWVRZ4G9R4I/w-d-xo.html Have a great one and thank you for your comments. Tom & Suzanne
We agree, it's a weird place, a walking museum. Unfortunately, but most of the original town was destroyed by the newer open pit mine operating today. Thanks for watching. T&S
It wasn't always like this. About 15 years ago my buddies rented the whole place out for the weekend to shoot a short horror film. It was the real deal back then it's almost unrecognizable now. Kind of a bummer. I remember going through all the buildings all full of people's old stuff. We had catering and makeup in the old schoolhouse it was one of the coolest things. Plus we got to party out there all weekend!
@@IcyBird420 Thank you so much for sharing your valuable experience of 15 years ago. Truly amazing information for others planning to visit. Have a wonderful day and thank you for your support and watching our videos. Tom & Suzanne
glad to see they got some good roofs omn those buildings. last time I was there (many years ago) it was really cool but looked to be on its way into the ground. it was much more authentic then, not all staged the way it is now but this also looks very cool. I will have to return again soon! UI thin they close when the temps get too hot so maybe this will have to be something to do in the fall.
Thank you for sharing your past experiences and it really helps our viewers understand there is truly more to the story here. We would have loved to see the head frame in its original location, as well, the original structures prior to the development of the open pit mine now in operation. It would be great if you have or can share photos or links that show the former Vulture City prior to restoration. That would be very cool! Cheers, Tom & Suzanne

Hi Lisa, thank you for the comments and we're so grateful for your kindness. Have an amazing day! Tom & Suzanne

We would have love to experience Vulture City at that time too and agree it would have been super cool! Thank you for watching! T&S

Great video on a ghost town. Vulture what a name
Thanks Will, I guess the name goes with the dry desert territory 😁

my sister has a collection of those insulators. I have heard that there are a few types of insulators that are worth something.
Wow, that's great information about the insulators and how valuable they can be. Thanks for watching and for subscribing, much appreciated! T&S
This “ghost town” doesn’t seem authentic. More like it’s been put together with pieces and parts for tourists.
We agree, it's a weird place, a walking museum. Unfortunately, but most of the original town was destroyed by the newer open pit mine operating today. Thanks for watching. T&S
Just restored, and they gathered some artifacts from around the mine to put together for viewing purposes.
Very authentic actually!

I think it's real but has been cleaned up. People put stuff wear they thought it would look good.

PS I have never heard anyone say Iron like that....what the heck...it is pronounced "I-ern" not "I-run"
