Jean T “Putting locals at risk”, the chances are so low of catching the virus especially when outside in the heat. Tourists drive all the time abroad and put locals at risk due to lack of experience driving abroad yet we do it, the chances of you being hit by a car are far greater.
Tourists are keeping these holiday destinations in business. Travel, but be safe.
I was there and we talked to many of the locals and they all said they were grateful, they need to work like anybody else. And we used masks in shops and distancing. We made sure to isolate before and after. I’ve had a long year and I did all I could☺️

It's not the right time to be travelling like this around Greece :(( we have been having major issues with the virus recently. The government sent out to us( the locals) warning messages about the virus spreading again, everyone has to wear masks inside shops and all buildings and it really upset me seeing you all not wearing them :(( there's a lot of people fighting in the comments, just to clarify, EVERYONE is required to wear masks inside buildings and shops by law. Obviously sitting and eating outdoors you can't wear one but in all other instances it's mandatory

Georgia Fyfe Maks do help to protect yourself. There is evidence published by the BMJ showing that the symptoms are reduced even if a drop lands on your mask.
