I agree being tanky is good, but what's the point of crit chance and crit dmg ? you oneshot everything even if you don't crit anyways
great question, i didnt point it out because i didnt want to make the video TOO long, yes, you already one shot everything in the game as is, and theoretically u could roll more tanky stats or anything else if you want to min/max your current capabilities, but the high crit chance and crit damage is in anticipation of the raid update, the left side of the damage tree doesnt help you much either since its excess unnecessary damage, but assuming u dont feel like lethal tempo is a necessity due to having ackerman and the global cd, u will get more value from the right side damage tree in the future

i just got ackerman, most builds i see are damage and health, but this one is interesting as it focuses on being more tanky boy, definetly will try this as a low level ackerman

I believe the point is optimizing your skill points. Upgrading your damage further will likely be pointless if u can already one shot every titan currently in the game. Sooo you might as well put those extra skill points to use by becoming a walking/flying tank. :)

I GOT ACKERMAN I think long time ago I said if I got Ackerman and I DID without using epic pity and now I have rage mode let it rip and swift strikes and I’m following this build as told
Every single build video I've seen is just ignore right side and go all in on dmg, but the info u gave is so good that it really just shows how lazy they were and how reliant they were on just being maxed for being tester honestly cudos to you and I sub'd as thx best of luck as a ytber, hope you branch out to other games

'Replacing Counter' with 'Rage Mode' is a must in my opinion, because of the 125 Hp Buff. Also, replacing 'Hardly Counter' with 'Let it Rip' isn't a bad option, but I would not do it because takes away your tankiness and killing titans with 'Let it Rip' is almost as hard as killing them normally
its up to preference, but this build is like 3 weeks old, ill be updating it for the raids update
After watching this I have to say - ackermann needs a buff for sure

What are the pros and cons of going the damage route of the skill tree just for lethal tempo as an ackerman?
This build is all around the better build overall, your drastically tankier, you have alot of health regen from support tree, etc, etc, however, if you go damage tree for lethal tempo, because you already one shot everything in the game without the damage tree, your investing all those points in the damage tree ONLY for lethal tempo, so your still fragile, you have no health regen, etc, however, if your prestige 3, you can unlock anything anyways so it doesnt matter, im actually making a video on the lethal tempo ackerman build video as we speak, it should drop soon
how are you shadow stepping or teleporting all over the place I wanna be a pro like that
its a memory, u get memories from prestiging, and this specific "shadowstep" one is called flashstep, it gives u i-frames when u boost or do flips, and it seems like im teleporting cuz im really fast i guess 👍
Ackerman has two offensive perks. This build's nice but not what I was expecting when you said it was super in depth. Personally am going to go with two Sanctified perks in offensive for +40% crit rate, and prioritize the right side of the offense skill tree. You can reach almost 100% crit rate without artifacts this way.
Another thing you didn't mention and probably didn't know and messed up, on your Artifacts, you can have the same stat twice. So I'm definitely gonna get crit dmg on all 4 stats.
Yeah I know this is all not very useful right now, but 100% crit rate with very hit crit dmg is gonna make me a raid boss killing machine like no other once that's out. That and Font of Vitality is MORE than enough to keep you alive by itself, no need to get so much survivability stuff.
the video was as in-depth as it needed to be without making it too drawn out, ill look into being able to stack the same perk, wasn't aware it would work, but ill give it a try, as for the same artifact stats thing, i believe everyone knows u can have the same stat, and ill be doing an updated build for raids soon
@@plasvx Awesome, thanks! Actually, in terms of like, the proportion of crit dmg vs crit rate you get from the perks vs from artifacts, getting it from artifacts actually seems to be a lot better after all.
For example, the crit dmg perk gives 50% crit dmg, while the crit chance one gives 20%. That's a 20/50 ratio, aka 40%. Meanwhile, on artifacts, for example on a legendary, you can get up to 7% crit chance, or 12.5% max crit dmg, which is a 56% ratio instead on the crit chance.
Basically if you could find the way to reach as close to 100% crit rate as possible while having the highest crit dmg possible at the same time, that would be great!

Dude gjust go lethal tempo tree and go full cooldown reduction build ( support right side) my lethal tempos are like 30 seconds its so braindead
naturally killing titans is more efficient if your good than playing off a 30s cd that requires alot of investment to get to, this cd build is cheesy but also just less efficient, id rather go tanky or crit based, however cd reduction is still viable
@RezeFeet thing is he's right, it's more efficient just play the exact same like you usually do but every 20 seconds you can press a single button and clear a group. Literally just faster

Good build but as of right now with no raids theres no reason for a sweaty build like this so i just use cool skills
valid, all the crit from the build is unnecessary, i thought the update would be out by now :skull: but the meta rn is tanky mainly or skill cd reduction and when update drops, pivot to the crit build
I love how you talk about having counter in your moveset yet don't hit a single counter the whole video (as far as I'm aware 💀) A good replacement would definitely be the rage mode like you said, boosting your max hp, giving you regen, giving you stat boosts, and resetting all cooldowns.

1. Always dismembers whatever limb the titan used to attack
2. Can be used on multiple titans
So it's actually MORE useful in a large horde of titans but it's not that useful overall

who cares if i chose to show that i can hit a counter, its background footage, the combination of having counter, flashstep, and being a good player makes u practically never take damage, cuz when u do somehow end up in a situation when your going to get hit, using counter gives u s instantly, can possibly kill any titans that are swining at you, or at least injure them, prevents titans who havent attacked yet from attacking you cuz thats how they are scripted, and if u have flashstep, u can use counter in a bad situation and zoom out of there instantly unscathed, it makes a good player untouchable in the right hands, easy S teir, its just preference based on the build

Can i ask how u got flashstep ive only invested in the left side of the support tree cause i was told the skill tree affects your memory and i keep getting omnirange but not flashstep am i doing something wrong?
no, your doing everything perfectly right actually, when i first prestiged, i reset my tree and put only in support, and when i actually prestiged, flashstep appeared first time, so i got lucky

FOR WHICH TREE? THERES ALOT OF VARIATIONS DEPENDING ON WHAT YOUR AFTER. HERES A SUMMARY:
support tree:
left side for insane health regen for tanky builds and resupply
right side for cd reduction
damage tree:
left side for lethal tempo, or if u dont have ackerman or yeager
right side for crit builds for yeager and ackerman
left side if your tanky yeager build
tank tree:
always left side, dmg reduction and hardy counter too valuable
(just take my word for it)

Skill tree you don't really need anything from it. My say I would pick Rage mode, Swift strikes, And let it rip. There's no point of the other skills. (bandages are a must depending if you're bad or good at the game). But the skill tree is useless.
why does it seem like black flashes when you boost?
its a memory, u get a memory every time you prestige, the black flash effect u see is actually a memory called flashstep that gives u i-frames when u boost or flip, its also the best in the game.

Imagine being Ackerman with 100% crit chance
ITS DO-ABLE! S- crit chance + ackerman 15% + right side damage tree 18% = 68%,
max upgrade the sanctified legendary perk and thats +20% = 88%,
at this point just roll a couple artifact stats for crit chance and BAM, 100% crit.
I guarantee it will be the meta for raid if u dont have shifting (ofc u need to stack alot of crit dmg too)

WORKING ON IT! but im 1500 aberrant missions deep with a 1.45x luck boost yet the game REFUSES to give me serum 😭i need it for the yeager and reiss build, i have them perfectly theorized and everything :(
why do people use the mobile resupply? you only need to resupply once if you are doing a round solo and not at all if you are in a group , like the resupply stations aren't super out of the way 99% of the time so I don't see a reason for it to fill up a slot.
Efficiency, plus there arent any other moves that provide me the efficiency value im looking for, rage mode is a close second but in my opinion, resupply is efficient enough to use over other options. Plus resupply is simply just a good move, i never use it in my serum runs (1.5k runs deep PLEASE GIVE ME SERUM AOT:R GODS), but i still just like to have it, plus all my friends who are as cracked as me also use it, just follow the memo, if i think its not worth using anymore, ill mention it in my next build vid, but at the end of the day, yeager has inf gas, ackerman does not, ackerman's only limitation is not being able to shift, and limited resources (blades and gas). Hope this helped in any way!
@@plasvx how does it provide efficiency if you don't use it? Unless I'm missing something having a skill and not being able to use it because the mission is over in 1:30 is just having it there for decoration.
And solo you just use one of the side camps once you clear out the area before moving into the rest of the map.
Also do you use your counter a lot in this build?
All the odm buffs make it so staying on the ground for even a second is less efficient than just murdering the titan by orbiting or whatever. And I can't really think of a scenario where I would use it, a single titan is easy picking and a horde of them can just makes it useless in my experience.
@@r1cosito i use counter yes, its an extremely safe move, like an eject button, especially paired with flashstep, ever in a sticky situation? press counter for s and instantly dash away.
Secondly, when i do serum runs, its usually done in 1min10seconds when im with my homies, your right, i dont end up using it(portable) at all in those scenarios, but i dont end up using rage mode either, because by the time i get rage mode, mission is about to end and the cutscene takes too long,(using rage mode resets the swift strikes(ackerman lethal combo) cooldown), the third ackerman skill is bad, and the only viable option is lethal, but because of the whole global cd, by the time i get a chance to use it after the global cd is up, ive already cleared my side of the map and my homies are finishing theirs. there is no real move to actually benefit much besides lethal assuming u have an opportunity to use it, im used to yeager and always having infinite gas, so not having gas on the go is impeding in situations where i need it.
Sometimes my homies and i run it in 3-5 stacks instead of 6-7 and if im doing a majority of the work which happens sometimes, i might need to refill blades or even gas, and i like having refills on me incase of anything, taking the time to go all the way over to a refill spot, most of the time, takes longer than just placing it, so yes it takes time to refill but ita more efficieny than going to a refill, and yes, if im already near one, ill obvi use it, but most of the time when i run out of a resource, i dont anticipate it, i just notice it when im less than 20% gas.
(long story short, if your not yeager, and your tanky, its good, because the skill tree path gives alot of health regen, and u have an on-the-go refill, sorry if any spelling errors, typing this on mobile)

@@plasvx how much have you used let it rip? I 100% agree that swift strike is the better skill of the two but I've found it great at mulching through crawlers and there are a lot of crawlers on nightmare/aberrant.
I used the crit path on my second playthrough and trying to use torrential steel at first was rough but all the time grinding aberrant for xp got me better at using it and when I finally upped the sensitivity I was able to use this thing to mow through crawlers effortless and if I was on top of my flicks I could use it on normal titans as well and could regularly get 3-5 kills with it and that all transferred over to Ackerman when I got it tho the timing had to be adjusted a bit sense let a rip is fast and I think last like 2 seconds longer.
@@r1cosito ive used it approximately 0 times and ive never unlocked it, its simply an inconsistent move that shreds your blade durability and the gain from the move is usually low (and there are better options), however, since im prestige 3, once im max level, ill unlock it and do some testing with it and see how i like it, then ill get back to you
