Oh heck no. She wasnt even strict and all of his complaints were materialistic. His mom always provided him with things he actually needed to survive and thats enough.

it looks like many of his friends seemed to have parents more capable of getting them those gadgets of theirs. And based of that alone the son wanted to have the same, despite the fact that not everyone can get something just because they share something in common.

Based of the word Chancla I’m assuming that OP is Latin American. And if you look at conversion rates from USD to Pesos $1000 is approximately 18350 Pesos. It might be enough if you know how to stretch it out.

I really wish abortion was legal 18+ years after someone is born. OP’s son could be used as a poster child for why it should be legal

The only thing I will say against her is you shouldn’t have a kid if you can’t support them. I don’t know where she came from but $1000 a month is nowhere near enough to raise a child.

You're right. Her son went from polite hardworker in vietnam to entitled libtard in America. Was the mistake having a child, or moving to America?

The fact that she saved 20% of her income per month for his tuition, and still managed to pay for housing, food and transporatation, shows she is a good mother and not a deadbeat. She is obviously from a country with a lower cost of living.

In Latin America the culture, religion and society expect from you to have children. There's a film from Chespirito where the protagonist is a low income football field employee who is struggling with rent and other bills, but when his wife gets pregnant they still see it as a blessing. Also we have the saying "God will provide" and people will genuinely just expect God to solve all their problems
