    Great interview. I love hearing George discuss things. He is so articulate and intelligent. Near the end, the host tells him that he’s waited 27 (or 28?) years for the interview - the response from George was so warm and genuine. He said, “really?” “It’s my pleasure”. He was such a good, sincere person even after everything the press had put him through during his long career. In spite of it all, he remained a nice, caring man. I am so sad that he is not in this world any longer. RIP, beautiful George.

    This guy is one of the most fascinating celebrities ever i think. He's humble, he pokes fun of himself, and he's generous plus he's got a great voice. I swear this guy could have been PM of Great Britain. He had the power to make people listen. I especially liked the part describing his parents and how it was a struggle to be around them when they had economic troubles. There's a sincerity coming out of him when he spoke. I like the fact he also says that his mom didn't care at all about money and that he pursued fame because of the struggles he had as a child. I think it would be cool to have a friend like this. He's the kind of guy that would make time for you no matter his problems, and he wouldn't be stingy when it came time for the bill. He probably paid for his friends. George didn't come across to me as a stingy miser. RIP man. You were one of the best singers in our history. For anyone growing up in the 80s you definitely must have heard and liked one of his songs even if you weren't a huge fan of him. He definitely left an imprint in this world. Looking for more cool interviews with George Michael.

      @SuzLa1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Racist? WTF? He even said himself he thinks he became famous because of being children of immigrant, where Anglo-Saxon type singers wouldn't have been as wild as him an Andrew, such as putting shuttlecocks down their shorts and throwing to teenage girls. Please shut up talking nonsense.

      Rosco Pico why is that strange? do you spend time judging others? because maybe when I was listening to this I was thinking of when George was recording this. I was in THAT present moment. #toobadyourenotagoodperson But I am not worried about you judging me.

    • @AtlantisIndigo
      @AtlantisIndigo 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rosco Pico you're making a way bigger deal out of a small comment upon hearing a great interview of a great artist speaking on things, some of which I hadn't heard before, a lot of which made me laugh because there was such humour and lightness to it. You need to branch your life out more & not spend so much time analyzing, judging and trying to pick apart others and just take from things the meaning that you may glean in passing.

    • @AtlantisIndigo
      @AtlantisIndigo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The 1st part of this interview he sounds like he has taken something? A slight slur to his speech? Still it doesn't detract from him communicating in an articulate way. I am just 3 years younger than George was ( Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou) I miss knowing he is not here but strongly believe that wherever he is, he is loved. It is such a shame he died and the timing? Always wonder if he was found sooner, could he have been saved. He shall live on regardless through his music and the clips and documentaries (some no doubt to follow) X

    Ho sempre amato quest'uomo dagli inizi della sua straordinaria carriera. Con il passare del tempo ha dimostrato, oltre ad essere una grandissima star planetaria senza pari, di essere una persona generosa, umana, estremamente sensibile a tante problematiche sociali e soprattutto rispettoso verso i suoi fans. Una persona con intelligenza vivace, con interessi nel campo dell'arte, amante degli animali ed estremamente sensibile. Amante oltre ogni modo della sua famiglia e generoso con amici e non. La sua autoironia gli ha permesso di superare un momento di defaillance e per questo ha dimostrato intelligenza e ironia oltre ogni aspettativa. Insomma è una super star, anzi la super star più brillante che ci sia. George va ricordato per la sua musica e per tutto ciò che di buono ha fatto nella sua vita e ne ha fatto davvero tanto, senza clamori ed ostentazioni perché lui era davvero un grande uomo. I love George forever.

    Oh George!!! The first of this breaks my heart. Congratulations on acting gay until ur 49? Why would you say that? This proves what I thought from his songs. His first love was a lady. Any woman in this world would have been happy to give you those children that u wanted & be your woman. Very enlightening very heartbreaking too.

      @@andreariegler He was. He talks about her in all his biographies. Especially Bare.
      He'd thought he was going to get used for who he was. But when he'd pushed her 2 be more than friends , she didn't want the life of being a pop stars woman. She'd came from a family that had pop stars & actors and she wanted nothing to do with it. He said when she turned him down. He went a little nuts. Fought physically with David A & Andrew. He said he'd went all "macho" for a pretty long while. He'd wrote Different Corner for her. He still wrote songs to her through the rest of his career. Freeek was one of them!!!!!

    ○@Rose Miller○ I do agree with your comment. However, did you know once he had stopped using contacts and began wearing Eyeglasses. He was Nearsighted at a very young age. Before we all lost him, he had 37 Pairs of Eyeglasses. I Currently have 6 Pairs of Eyeglasses. Stunning I have to admit. For he was so Blessed and a Divine Gift from the Almighty Father. Do spoil yourself while your living life. Take Care and Be Well My Friend:🇬🇧🇺🇸 ®️.

      He is slurring his words. It sounds as though he'd been drinking, or had taken some form of benzodiazepine or opioid. Smoking weed does not make you slur.
