Yoongi once said that he never writes a diss track for a specific person but if someone gets offended or triggered, then it’s their problem
no he doesn't name names, so if people recognise themselves and feel offended then it's their problem, but he obviously writes with specific people or instances in mind.
The army line is supposed to mean that they will go to military service when the time comes & he is saying shut tf up to people who used that topic and sell bts's name to gain attention.

the lyrics in the video are pretty messed up / wrong
at 7:33 he didnt refer to us, army, he reffered to the actual military service
interviewers keep on asking them when they are going to enlist cause of Seokjin's and Yoongi's age, and Yoongi got kind of tired of it, and said ''we’ll be sure to go to the military when it’s time, so
all the bastards who tried to sell our name to freeload off us, shut up '',
meaning they should just shut up and let them enjoy their life, instead of trying to pry into their private lives just for an article to get paid off.

Actually wouldn’t trust Genius lyrics too much, they can be edited by anyone and often have mistakes in them as well.
Personally, I would highly recommend Doolsetbangtan for lyrics (they have a website & a Twitter) they translate, provide cultural context and interpretation of certain lyrics - they are Korean so have a very good understanding of what is actually being said.

Honestly I don’t think that this lyric video does justice to what is ACTUALLY being said by Yoongi. I think that they mistranslated some of the lyrics wrong. I understand cause they do it really fast but when you see what is really being said, you get the satisfaction

For the lyrics, try not to use Lemoring or Jaeguchi because their lyric translations are usually pretty off. Use Zaty Farhani channel if you can it's much more accurate. :)
I just fell in love with Yoongi even more listening to this mixtape. I didn’t know I could love him even more than I do. He took me on an emotional journey. Savage Yoongi is awesome. He has a kind heart too. I like it when he raps I can immediately recognise that it’s his voice.
"The tens zeros in my back account is the collateral for my youth" is really deep because when you think about it, alot of kpop idols give up there normal lives to be in the lime light or just to male something of them selves in the kpop industry. But the kpop industry is also like a slave system it takes millions of dollars just to get out of it. And the reason why its collateral for his youth is because it took all of yoongis child hood and adult years as a musician to reach all the way he is now, and that speaks for everyone in bts and even the small groups in the kpop industry, because it really does take alot to reach some point in any career and sometimes you end up giving up your whole life to that career and you may or may not get something out of it.

the “army” in this song means literally the “military service”. there’s a misunderstood in this translation but this is not a reference to our fandom if you read the korean lyrics. he’s saying to media stop selling their names with that topic just for attention, cause they gonna come to public for themselves when the enlistment time come. i was also waiting for your reaction cause this is my fave from this mixtape, he literally disses all his haters without even trying hahahahah

This is why I hate Jaeguchi and Lemoring, not only do they steal views from MVs with lyrics (therefore also stealing BTS's paycheck) but their lyrics aren't even correct! The army line is about enlistment, he said they'll go to the military when the time is right.

I know well because I'm Korean, but D's cursing skill in the song is really the best. It's thrilling. it is something wrong. The meaning of the word [sibal] is 'fucking'. yes. but [jojto] is not the same. There are other words that are modified like [jon-na], [jotto], and [jon-na-ge] that look different, but they actually mean the same thing. Starting with the pronunciation of the alphabet "J" words in the lyrics, this word is actually a curse word in Korean. (almost all) The basic type is [jot], and the meaning of this word is a low-level word for [male genitalia]. If I had to explain the meaning of this word, it means, "enough to swear on my peanut, seriously". and You can think of it as "very, and really.". But to be exact, [very very very very very very very very and...... really really really really really really really really really ] is correct. Koreans use a variety of Korean swear words in front of every word they want to emphasize. D, too, yes. In the beginning of Korean swear words (Shibal), the word [shib] means sex when translated into Korean, and the word itself is a little lower in quality and a bad word. Similar English word means F***ing. But if you list the bad in order, it's make love < sex < fucking < shibal. It's a word that directly refers to the act of sex, but it's a word that you use with great contempt and degrading.
Both words reinforce negative emotions and feelings very much more negatively. ★ Oh. anyway, I am Korean and ARMY too. The army part is about the older members going to the korean army - military service, because Korean media speculates about it a lot.
