Wow, that is definitely different than here in the US. We work with cement suppliers we know and trust and have proven their worth. We do not usually mix ourselves, this is really impressive and beautiful.
Hi, Great job! What proportions of portland cement, sand, stone and water did you use to cover that pipe? What granulometry of sand and stone did you use? Thank you.
@@leemcdee9564 is the screed fibre necessary and if so and what depth of drypack. Ive seen some jobs require mesh when the dry pack exceeds 3 inches or so. Also, we always do a 4:1 mix sand to porland but use around 1/4 latex to water. Does this negate the need for fibre because we notice a big increase in top strength especially when using a low dose latex water mix.
They make that look so easy, the screed looks so nice to work with, extremely good at there job this gang .
Thanks. I've used these boys for years!
I love the way you guys work , great job 👏 👍
Quality workmanship there. More please.
Helped screeders back in the 80s very hard and I say hard work . U know when u have done a days work . Wouldn’t like to do it full time .

Can you do your own mixes with a normal mixer?
Do you need specialists for this work?
대단히 현명한 방법이군요. 한국에서도 이것과 거의 똑같이 모든 주택에 시공합니다. 다른 점은 기계화가 잘 되었다는 것입니다.
Do you guys not use ready mix trucks in the UK?
Some do, but if you were guaranteeing the supply and fit, would you mix it yourself or rely on someone else? I know what I would do!

Done and do floor screeding never thought about power floating it,not a bad idea to finish it👍
How long to do you leave it after screeding before using the float on it?
how many days does it take before you can walk on a 70mm layer?
Hi, I always give it a couple of days. always try to screed on a Friday ready to crack on Monday!!! Busy day for these boys!!!

Hi. 4 : 1 sharp sand to Portland Cement. Water is just enough to bind. important you also use a screed fibre (normally added to the water).

What time it takes for it to dry completely ?
Месяц
never seen something like this done in canada
How long does this take to dry on average before laying engineered wood flooring?
1 mm a day to dry.
Generally they recommend 1 day per MM, so 70 days in this case! always try to screed as soon as you can on a project.
That's concrete?
Sand and cement dry mix but goes off solid
Sharp sand and cement mate, ballast is used for concrete
Very good 👍

Careless job! Placing tripods over the hose is just a NO NO.
Thanks for the concern but its metal UFH pipe designed to take ten tons of screed! Never had an issue.
They are pretty hard to break, even hitting it with a shovel is not enough usually.
