Combustion ke liye white phosphorus use Kiya jata tha pehle... But it was very dangerous for users and makers... So , white phosphorus was banned 🚫👎... And they started using red phosphorus.... Matchstick me head pe antimony trisulphide and potassium chlorate hi use hota hai.. and Jo side pe strip red ♥️ colour ki hoti hai .... Usme red phosphorus aur tiny glass hota hai... Pahle white Phosphorus friction ke Karan jal jata tha... Lekin abb
Red phosphorus potassium chlorate se react hota hai jiske Karan thodi si heat banti hai jo ki antimony trisulphide ke sath react karke combustion karti hai.

Yes it is liquid when inside the cylinder but when we use it it converts in gas form..
So we will put in Gas form only.
