The Best Way To Fill Around A New Chased In Electrical Socket

I was on this job and the Electrician didn't do the first bonding coat of plaster after chasing out the walls for new sockets but he did supply these Socket Safety Shields which were brilliant for getting filled right up close and even behind the faceplate of the socket.
Once filler or plaster is dry then simply unscrew and pull off then screw the faceplate back on tight to the wall.

Impressive invention! Kudos to the electrician for their innovative thinking. This tool would have significantly reduced the number of coats required for a flawless finish before painting, making the process more efficient for me.
