Wow! Brings back memories! I used to live in Palo Alto back when I was 4 years old (64 years ago), and San Antonio Road was the connection we used to get to US 101 Bypass (101 back then was what is 82 today). The family used to take the freeway to US 40 to see my aunt many times. Since then, the freeway has changed. It used to be only 2 lanes each direction. Most of the bridges appear to have been changed or upgraded. The Whipple Ave bridge is the only original bridge I could see. And the area where Anza Blvd now goes into used to be open bay with a bunch of power line towers in it. Thanks for posting this!
