I dedicate this song to my Grandpa and Grandmother. My grandfather died suddenly 5 years ago at thr age of 75. My Grandmother has been holding in here, shes 79 now. They knew each other there whole lives. Lived right across the street from each other. When the good lord calls my Grandmother home im sure she'll see him again. Somethings do last forever.
My Mom & Dad lasted forever, even through my Dad being deployed in WWII. Back then when people said “I do”, they really meant it. Both are gone now, but I find comfort knowing they are together in a better place.

Dad, then 76, feared having to stay here ten years without her. He worked for God who, in His mercy, called Dad home at age 84. Losing Dad broke my heart for selfish reasons, but in my heart I was happy for him. He was lonely here without Mom and very exhausted. Being a distinguished and handsome gentleman, women often invited him to dinner. I told him he had honored Mom and going out to dinner might be good for him. He told me that he was waiting until he could see my mother again, the only woman he would never love. I told him to do whatever makes him happy. He said looking forward to that was what he lived for, second only to serving God, just as it had always been. I hugged him and said I understand. Some things really DO last forever. Cathy Lee, we were both blessed. Have a good weekend. ~
