    I'm currently studying for a literature exam and this was really helpfull :) Also Dr Davies has a realy nice and calm voice, I wish I could listen to the whole of Mrs Dalloway read by her!

      Or you could read Mrs Dalloway and draw your own conclusions..that is most significant..

    I think when reading Mrs Dallloway one should be lead by Woolf and that is its crux and its power..sometimes analysis is valuable but to see a tree is too see a tree..but I do say this narrator is charming and does detail or rather characterise The Woolf Novel..

    Or the proto-modernist Poe (THE TELL-TALE HEART, for example)., though not in the form of a novel, and/or the Surrealists/Dada-iss's experiments. W.H. Hodgson's HOUSE ON THE BORDERLAND---not so sure about that one.
