Using up an entire 12x12 paperpad

- Hi crafters! Today I show you how I smashed this entire paper pad I bought at Michaels. This particular paper pad is no longer available, however, they have a variety of other themes.

Hi Karen. Great smash of your 12x12 paper. I love the butterflies, especially the paper that also has gold foil on. You could also add a cardboard cut out inside the box and inside the lid for further stability. TFS. Loved your use of the pad. Keep well. God bless. 💜🤗🦋

I love the variety. Beautiful work. There is a difference between a butterfly and a moth. As a biologist/entomologist it is important.

Liked your idea for journaling pockets. So much more attractive than ticket stubs glued on the front. I will use this idea.

You got a lot of things made from that paper pad... some great ideas too. I like the box idea but agree, the top should have smaller sides and it needs to be heavier weight. Maybe use the covers from your paper pad to line it. They're usually white on the backs.
Um... one paper pad for $5 or 3 for $20? I'll buy one at a time then... which is $15 for 3. 🙃
Definitely a good idea with the box, to use the covers from the pad. The paper pads usually cost $20 each, so when it's buy 1 at $20 and get 2 free, yes, I'll pay $20 for three pads vs $60 (these pads are from Craftsmart, which has 48 sheets, whereas Recollections is 25 sheets). This sale doesn't exist anymore. Now it's either $5 a pad, or another sale will be buy one get one half off. Recollections is definitely coming out more with their paperpads. I'm seeing minimal Craftsmart brand. Thanks for watching!

These are pretty, but too small to be mailed in the US. Besides adding them to gifts, how else could you use them? Tyfs
They shouldn't be too small to mail. You can always ask your mail carrier what the postage would be. You could always donate them! There are several organizations who accept donated cards. That's exactly what I do. Thanks so much for watching!
@@karenscraftingcompany Yes ma'am, the USPS' minimum size is 3.5 x 5" unfortunately. Donating is a great idea.
@@pennywarren2357, well that's a bummer! Maybe those are the ones you give to people in person? You can always modify the cut size to fit the minimum measurement for mail as well. 😊
I donate the majority of my cards, and the one organization I donate to accepts all sizes.

I think they changed their hot buy pads this month....
They do change them out. This paper pad I used up was from a year ago. They typically change them by season from what I've seen. Thanks for watching!
