I recommend the story mode, it's by far the best the series has presented and along side with that, it's just genuinely fun (especially the dialogue at the end) + it's a very good way for new players to practice their skills and become more used to the controls, new features etc
@@Anubonek I have but have you seen all the target stages and secret kettle? Octo expansion is hard but atleast you don't have to spend over an hour on one stage
The story mode is much more fun in 3 than in the last games but also longer if you play all the levels, but you don't have to play them all so. Each level is different with different weapons and what you're supposed to do and everything, like sometimes only bombs or a special, sometimes never touch enemy ink etc. Also some tips since you asked: -The tacticooler is a support special, getting a drink from it boosts your speed and other abilities for a while, it has 4 drinks, one for every teammate. It can also be used as a smaller shield since it's indestructible until it disappears. Not very good for panic using or getting spats with, though. -If you don't already, do wrist/hand exercises so you don't get carpal tunnel/arthritis from a silly squid game. - If fighting close up isn't going well, try staying away and really utilize range depending on your weapon. I also struggle if I don't remember to keep my distance with my weapon which has longer range, for example. If that's not your style, pick a weapon with a higher fire-rate or that does more damage.
Splatoon 3 is honestly such a great game. They made so many improvements compared to the last 2 games and the story is so much better. It was great to see you play this :)
The soda machine for dynamo and other weapons provides buffs for you and your teammates. One person each gets a soda everytime the special is used but you have to physically go near the machine (not in your squid form, as a kid) to get the buffs. I recommend putting it near your teammates so they can reach or in a spot that really isn't visible to the enemy. The buffs it provides are swim speed so everyone on your team swims faster and when you or your teammates die after they grabbed a soda, the respawn a lot faster. I'm sure it does more but that's what I've seen so far. It was really fun watching you play! Can't wait to see more content on this game ^^

its a very good game definitely worth $60 dollars! the combat is fun, the strategies are interesting, and the progression is cool. there is also a story mode which explains some of the lore (although maybe watch lore videos for splatoon 1 and 2 if you havent seen them, splatoon 3 leaves out some details like how captain 3 was originally agent 3 in splatoon 1)
To spawn to your teammates, you need to open the map (X Button) as you spawn in and pick which teammate to jump to. Also that Bubbler special you didn’t understand is actually very useful for defense, it’s basically a shield for blocking enemy ink when you’re inside of it.
Heya Mike! Here’s some stuff about the specials (top right corner)! For the dome-looking one, that’s a kind of shield that your teammates can jump to, even if your not there (Also, press X to open the map and then the arrow buttons to pick a player to jump to). Then for the one that’s “Who’s Thirsty?”, that one‘s basically a fridge. If you look closely, after it’s placed four canned drinks will pop out. You and your team can walk up to it and grab one. This will increase your speed for a short period! Also, to get used to the weapons and mechanics, I’d recommend the story mode. It’s a great way to test weapons before buying them. Then when your feeling more confident but not quite enough to go up against real people, try (my personal favourite) Salmon Run!! You and three others will team up to harvest golden eggs from various types of Salmon (AKA Salmonoids). Make sure to ‘work a few shifts’ before you get too close to the end of the story mode... it may or may not be somewhat relevant... 👉👈 Hi people who aren’t Mike! IM SO SO HAPPY YOU PLAYED THIS ON THE CHANNEL splatoon has been my special interest for YEARS and it makes me excited to see my favorite youtubers posting videos on it!!! i would LOVEE to see you play the storymode, its a lot more popular than you think and I thin many people would love to see it too!! before anything though I highly recommend taking a moment to look up the story shown by the last two games, otherwise some stuff from splatoon 3's storymode won't make sense or won't have as much of an impact and might leave you confused. (also glad to see another brush main!!) some stuff, the special weapon from ur starting weapon works like a shield! enemies can still get inside but they cant shoot at you from outside until they break it! it also acts as a place for your teammates to jump to. I dont know if you figured this out yet but you can jump to your teammates by going to the map (press X) and selecting someone who's alive. I rlly hope you make more videos on this, maybe even a stream playing with viewers! You should try out salmon run if you havent, it gives you the best rewards :)
Hey if you're having problems with aiming, escaping enemies, throwing bombs, and etc. You should definitely use Motion Controls. Story Mode is also a amazing way to get back into the game, and it's also way more funner than the past 2 games.
Would love to see more, definitely would say to actually play with motion controls as it lets you react quicker, just turn down the sensitivity if you need to. Also would love to see you play the salmon run mode, its one of the coolest multiplayer modes

so glad to see that you're playing this, i have some tips: i reccomend motion controls, it helps a lot for aiming (it'l feel a bit weird at first but you'll get better at it) also set your sensitivity, -1 is the default and its very slow

The bubble special you were using at the start - It's a shield, basically. Vulnerable at the top and useless if they get inside it, but it also acts as a beacon allowing teammates to jump to it relatively safely. Basically the replacement of the old Bubbler from S1 or Ink Armor from S2 and doesn't appear broken like both of those were at this early stage in the game. Spawning at teammates since you asked - open the map by pressing x, you can then select any teammate (with d-pad shortcuts to each if you don't want to select by clicking on their icon on the map, can be done when spawning or just generally. Down on the d-pad selects spawn so you can jump back to spawn (well, a point on the map the game correlates with spawn, it doesn't put you back on the floating cappuccino machines) Stage count - 12 total for PvP at launch, with more meant to be added over time (though we don't know the frequency of that), two per rotation per mode, rotations last two hours. Also 3 maps for the PvE co-op Salmon Run mode, though the rotations for that are 40 hour behemoths and each rotation has one map and four weapons that you are randomly assigned and swap every wave (It's really fun, and can help find weapons you like enough to want to learn)

Please do the story mode, I just completed it, and it’s actually quite interesting. I think that you will enjoy it and there are SOOOOO many plot twists you won’t believe it. You also don’t need to do every battle on each island so you can make it quicker
The first special u got is a shield it's not the best but it covers u from ink also clothes are really important because it can give u little helpers like being more resistant to enemy ink or being able to swim faster also you can teleport to others by going to the map and pressing one of your team mates :D also pls play more!

Idk if bijuu is gonna keep playing this game but might aswell give some tips : The first one is : press the X button on you controller to see the map you can use the directions (left, right and up) to superjump on one of your teammates (or use the down button to go back to your spawn) Also there's two buttons on the corner at the left "this way"(it's use to tell your teammates to follow you (if they ever want to)) and "booyah" (it's used to encourage your teammates at the beginning of the match (or just tell one of your teammates that they did good) Ofc there's a special weapon called the "booyah bomb" you need to spam the booyah button when this appears. And the killer whail 5.1 ( the weapon that looks like speakers that shoots laser beams) for this one you need to aim it at someone and it'll follow them automatically. And the special weapon that looks like a fridge with drinks inside is a support special that give you speed and it makes your respawn time a lot less longer (if you die a few seconds after drinking it).
Pro tip in the special that you were asking what is it do it creates a mini shield for you and your team to stay in and I can deflect shots from enemies but overtime if enemies keep shooting it the shield will disappear

For the wind shield wiper hold the attack button and hold forward to do an instant kill like in real life, a blade hits it's opponent and dead in a second, and also that first weapon with the force field thingy is a shield that can protect you from shots fired but they can get in so be careful with that, and that cooler thingy gives you buffs temporary like speed, decrease respawn time etc and that's it for me kwkskekfkf
Use something with either Booyah bomb or splashdown they are the best ultimates splashdown is better for scope users because you need to get up high and aim and booyah bomb you need good teammates to booyah and cheer you on
Use motion. Without it you have a huge disadvantage. Squid roll by swimming, and then turning back and jumping. Look at the subs and specials of weapons and learn what they do so you can play optimally. Not everything is made to kill, some weapons are made to spam specials, or shoot from the back of the map. Go into the Sheldon’s shop and press ZL to learn about the weapon and it’s kit.
jumping to ur teammates: click x ur first powerup was a beacon people on ur team can jump to it also bc u implemented ur saved data u may have golden tickets golden tickets = u can get weapons before you have reached a level e.g. a roller u get at level 20, u can get with a golden ticket at any level hope this helps :)

A basic breakdown of specials: Big bubbler is a defense bubble that blocks enemy ink, but others can walk into the bubbler to kill, the “who’s thirsty” is the tacticooler, it increases movement speed and swim speed while increasing action (squid roll and squid surge) also it increases squid jump speed and respawn time, so if you die you come back alive really quick.

Pro tip in the special that you were asking what is it do it creates a mini shield for you and your team to stay in and I can deflect shots from enemies but overtime if enemies keep shooting it the shield will disappear

To squid jump to allies (or spawn to them) you can press X to open the map and select an ally to jump to

For the wind shield wiper hold the attack button and hold forward to do an instant kill like in real life, a blade hits it's opponent and dead in a second, and also that first weapon with the force field thingy is a shield that can protect you from shots fired but they can get in so be careful with that, and that cooler thingy gives you buffs temporary like speed, decrease respawn time etc and that's it for me kwkskekfkf
And just for the fun of it, the down and up arrow are like call-outs
Use something with either Booyah bomb or splashdown they are the best ultimates splashdown is better for scope users because you need to get up high and aim and booyah bomb you need good teammates to booyah and cheer you on
Use motion. Without it you have a huge disadvantage. Squid roll by swimming, and then turning back and jumping. Look at the subs and specials of weapons and learn what they do so you can play optimally. Not everything is made to kill, some weapons are made to spam specials, or shoot from the back of the map. Go into the Sheldon’s shop and press ZL to learn about the weapon and it’s kit.

also bc u implemented ur saved data u may have golden tickets
golden tickets = u can get weapons before you have reached a level e.g. a roller u get at level 20, u can get with a golden ticket at any level

Splatoon3 has had me by the throat since it came out! Ive been addicted! Also the story mode isn’t that bad in this game.

A basic breakdown of specials: Big bubbler is a defense bubble that blocks enemy ink, but others can walk into the bubbler to kill, the “who’s thirsty” is the tacticooler, it increases movement speed and swim speed while increasing action (squid roll and squid surge) also it increases squid jump speed and respawn time, so if you die you come back alive really quick.

Two spawn to a player ( your team mates) press X than if you see someone you want to spawn to click on the squid or octopus form of them and click A. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense😅 Also, I think you should upload more splatoon content it’s very fun to watch!
