    Hi Zlata! I'm in the UK, also a beginning older learner (68), and I'm learning so much through your generosity and kindness. Thank you so much! I find your teaching style and personality very engaging. You explain things very clearly and understandably and I think that's such a gift. My dream piece is Albinoni's Adagio - I'd really love to be able to play it one day, and I'm often watching the lovely video of your performance in the church in the Netherlands! Thanks again.

    hello Zlata, I just bought a violin a few weeks ago and I've tried learning with different courses and books but they were complicated and confusing, but your course is the best one I have found and I wish you would continue this course a lot more since I feel I have discovered a new passion for myself through playing the violin. Thank you!!!

    I am on week 7 now learning . I will be following this instruction videos to the letter and see how my progression goes . I even went on Facebook to a Violin Players " Beginners " and posted you had started to make how to videos . A lot of people with no type of musical back ground are finding new videos hard to come by . They also are always asking a lot of questions you have already answered : ) They even have a instructors corner for tips and tricks as well as what you can learn from your one on one lessons ! Just a thought , I know know you would be a huge welcomed sight to the group ! I have a felling thought a lot of the group will be finding you soon . Not but 11K of us lol : )

    I’m literally from scratch. I bought a Cecillo Beginner violin that I want to learn to play. I use to have a piano & my teacher caught me to play by ear/memory so I don’t read music. I just learned measure by measure & memorized each as I went.
    This is all new to me even putting the risen on the bow, which I don’t think I’m doing it right, it’s as hard as a rock. HELP

    Hello Zlata, at frist: thanks a lot for al your effort making these video’s for us. Im watching and practicing with your video’s.
    I play the viola. The notes are different at the Viola. Can i still use all of the theory in these video’s for the Viola as well? Or do I need to know some sidenotes while playing the Viola? Kind regards!

    • @violinlounge
      @violinlounge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are two important notes for the viola:
      - the viola has a different cleff (so as you read the G on the violin, it reads seven notes lower for viola)
      - the viola is tuned a fifth lower (CGDA and violin is GDAE)
      Search my channel for viola videos :).

    • @cynthiac4168
      @cynthiac4168 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@violinlounge wow your answer is very quick! Thank you! Okay and as i understand, if I keep in mind those sidenotes, I can still use and apply the rest of the video’s for violin at the Viola as well?

    • @violinlounge
      @violinlounge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cynthiac4168 Yes, the playing technique itself is almost the same, except that you need some more weight on the viola. However, I do recommend getting viola sheet music.

      The truth is always funny.
      Except when it hurts.
      I am scared to tell you I am finally going through 1-10 lesson book. I have only the 4th finger left.
      my mind has exploded because I recognized myself playing
      Father Jacob
      twinkle twinkle
      and Mary had a little lamb.
      What happened was this: watching your last video & I heard you say adults feel they must understand everything before they try a lesson. But children will try a simple song. 💡 So I tried picking up the violin and bow WHILE reading the downloaded lessons.!
      I am delighted.❤
      Up all night. It's almost 7 a.m. in NY usa.
      Still dark out here. But I hear a 🐓 rooster 😆
      Zlata thank you for pointing out what stops adults from moving forward .
