    Is that a red rim lense protector on the Ace Pro? If yes where did you purchase? Thanks in advance.

      Yah, I actually designed it and 3D printed it, I like it as it gives you "most" of the protection other then direct impact.

    Thanks for your presentations.
    Saw the insta360 Multi Mount in one of your videos.
    It seems it's a PGYTECH Mantispod Z.
    Cheaper as with the insta360 label but still nearly 50 bucks.
    But it has a great quality and cool functions, so absolutely worth it.

      I believe they partnered up with PGYTECH because it also says PGYTECH on it lol

    I’m on the waiting list for the magnetic mount holster, what selfie stick works with it?

    • @MiyagisRant
      @MiyagisRant  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Pretty much any selfie stick works with it, there's the main adapter that has both male and female 1/4 inch screw on it. As for stock, Amazon Canada still has stock and where I got mine from, Insta360 has been out of stock for a couple of weeks now.

    So I've been trying to figure out that L-wrench-adj knob thing for when I use it with the onex2 for the magnetic selfie stick holster. I couldn't get it to tighten ( feels like holes are just.. holes and no screw to tighten), but watching your vid, realizing , does it need the quick release mount to work? I'm about to give up

    • @MiyagisRant
      @MiyagisRant  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yah, they gave you an hex wrench that serves no purpose really lol probably just use that then design a piece of metal you can't use anywhere else. How you do it is screw on your quick connector to the furthest point that the front of the connector lines up with the oval magnet on the adapter, cause that will face your camera in a POV view, now with the hex L wrench, slide either tip in one of those 4 holes on that 'disc' and turn it to tighten upwards toward the quick connector holding the quick connector with your other hand in that aligned facing position. Once it's tight, you have now installed it correctly IF you're camera is facing forward when you click it on the holster.

      @@MiyagisRantThank you for your guidance. I wish I could show you but when I connect this on the one x2 directly, when I insert the hex wrench, I don't feel it locking into anything therefore to tighten. Which is why I was thinking that this only works with the quick release mount. I'm on with CS too but they still can't give me a solution. It's just annoying that I can't tighten the disc and everytime I release it fro the holster, the camera is facing a weird angle.

    • @MiyagisRant
      @MiyagisRant  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@maeeditor6851 No, when you insert the hex wrench in, it's just for leverage to tighten, it doesn't lock into anything. You're basically using the wrench in one of those holes as leverage to turn the disc up towards your device or connector via the 1/4 screw. Not sure, why it's not working for you, I can do a video on how I do it if that will help.

      @@MiyagisRant OMG haha I was just about to type that I got it now. The hex is just for leverage. Thank you so much! My brain was simply not working.

    Great overview love it! my challenge is still to mount the camera somewhere on the chest and to keep my hands free while hiking. Even though the ace pro has great stabilization and horizon lock, i still feel there is too much shaking in the video while walking (not running). How do you solve this?

    • @MiyagisRant
      @MiyagisRant  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've been using it mounted on my backpack strap for awhile even before I got the Magnetic Holster and never had issues with stabilization. But I'm not running with it, mostly hiking. I think the stabilization on the Ace Pro is pretty good. Have you tried turn the stabilization to high? I'll send some video samples up of me in Cuba with the Ace Pro mounted on my backpack strap, looks good to me and it was low light too.

    Another fantastic "quick" segment. ha ha I only kid you because my friends know that whenever I Utter the words " I will make this quick" they know that is probably not the case. 😁😁😁😁 In all seriousness though, good job and you do cover a lot of info so I will give you a break. 😊😊😊😊 I think you know I'm a fan of your channel. Just as an FYI I live in Alaska and ride my motorcycle into and through Canada almost yearly. I have a lot of Canadian friends.
