- On the 14th of September 2024 I was banned from ever chatting in Ironmouse's Twitch chat.
This video is to explain why I was banned and how I am really sorry for my chat post.
Make what you will of what I have said I am just making a public apology to the moderators of Ironmouse's Twitch channel chat and to Ironmouse herself if they ever do see this.

Update: As of the 17th Of September a moderator from Ironmouse's Twitch chat has accepted my unban request and has warned me to use my words carefully next time which I full heartily will. As this was still during Ironmouse's subathon as another way of saying that I am sorry I gifted 10 gift subs on their channel. Granted its not much in the grand scheme of things but its what I can give at this time as a way to apologize for my very poor choice of words.

Oh dude! I can relate so much with this 'cuz I've so many inapropiable things irl without realizing that is not funny and thinking and typing fast enough to match the gameplay and conversation may be difficult.
I'm proud of you for owning up to your mistake and I'm glad to see the update that the ban was lifted. I disagree with other comments telling you to take down the video, because it is an example of how to handle a misunderstanding.
In my case, I know more of Ironmouse's condition than her streaming, just because I resear-tain myself with psychology, medical conditions and Japan, the algorithm made a connection there, but I don't think everybody would know this and your comment was not that bad.
I mean I think we've all had dumbass moments when we have opened our mouths and said something without realising it could be taken in an entirely different way from what was intended. If you're lucky, you're with friends and they will call you out on it and you will have a few minutes of profound embarrassment and then life goes on.
You were not lucky.
But good on you for owning it and apologising.

As he has mention, the mods are too busy managing live chat 24/7 to check unban requests

i think mousey is the most overprotected of all vtubers, because being so loved attracts a lot of hate too, i think you already apologized and got unbanned, you should take down the video now.
All chat is overprotective of Mousey, even mods. I'm really think mods overreacted. 10m chat ban is enough for that. So user can understand that he is done something bad. Permaban is definitely too much for 1st violation.
Looks like you've been almost 1.5 month on her channel. I consider this still new viewer, not enough time to learn a lot about Mousey because she is talking about her condition and struggles rarely enough. And it feels like she decided not to talk about her health during subathon for not to ruin it with sad vibes.
I think mods will start to checking all unban requests after subathon because during it they busy 24/7 with live chat moderation.
I'm not affiliated with Mousey and mods at all, it's just my thoughts and speculations.
P.S. I know how long you've been chatting on Mousey channel because i use Chatterino and this app records all chat logs.
A fair viewpoint. You are probably right but as you said your not affiliated with anyone on Mouse's mod team so whos to say if they will look at the unban request after subathon. Also interesting you were able to find that info. I'm sure you looked at my chat logs and I normally am decent when talking in Twitch chats and make the odd reference humour. But like I said I don't expect to get unbanned anytime with how everyone is busy and I wanted to make the video as a way of clearing my conscience cause I understood where they all came from and what I put in chat looked bad and I am owning up to my mistake.
