I’d definitely stay in it.
I loved that old mansion. Too bad about the tornado. I hope someone would help financially to restore it. It takes a lot of money to do it. I love the shape of the house and the lay out of the rooms. Many windows to let light in. Thank you Ranger Rick for the tour.
Just standing applause to the caretaker & all those involve in preserving this extremely elegant mansion.. Just Horrid that the tornado came thru adding to the xtra work.. Also a Huge Applause to RangerRick for introducing us to this gorgeous place..
In Indiana, yes, yes.
Hell ya! Thank you.
Beautiful House...worth every penny to restore hopefully they will. Thanks for the awesome tour...🙌🙌
Thanks for watching!
The roof needs fixing fast to stop the water destroying the mansion
Yes, it needs to be the top priority or the house will rot from the top down. I'm sure they know that though. They should set up a donation fund so people can help them out.
SO happy to see nobody vandalised the place good they are watching it's a gorgious time capsule
Hi Rick! I am a 65 year old woman and I would absolutely love to stay in this fantastic home! I love this but, I live in Washington state so I would have to have a bit of money to go there! But it would be a dream for me! I experienced many, many paranormal events as I was growing up! Had wonderful memories now! My name is June and I would, even at my age! 😂
Go for it! It was awesome .
How do they know there's a burial back in that wall? Has a radar been done for bones?
The wall, where the little girl is laid to rest, is wet from tears the house is shedding for the child.
That's deep.
Why do they lay her on the wall?
Uh, WHAT?
Or it's just water leaking through the roof
OMG this is a beautiful home ❤ it should be restored, a shame too see something so well build and beautiful, just sitting there too decay , you just dont see places built like this anymore
I totally agree!
I bless this house to be free of its hauntings. May all whom reside there go beyond and into heaven. God bless the child that was buried in the walls. How awful for that to happen to a small child. Bless all who enter. ❤
All the water damage that you're pointing out took years to become that decayed, I'm sure the tornado didn't help. Beautiful mansion, thanks for taking us on the tour.
I sure hope it doesn't get torn down9
I've Done It Before... Not In This Place, Of Course.... But Considering How Much Isn't Known, Or To An Extent Can Even Be Explained.... Who Can Even Say?! Death Isn't The End... It's A New Beginning On A Different Plane....
I would love to call this gorgeous house my home.
Hi Rick❤ What a beautiful mansion, No ghosts except that shadow figure, thank the lord! Guess what I live in Indiana we could’ve had lunch the day you were in Indiana. I absolutely loved the history of that place. Thank you for taking us
Ohhh no kidding . I'll let ya know when I'm up again.
Beautiful old mansion, I hope they do restore this Grand Old Lady.
Yes they will!
That babydoll standin on the mantle is exactly like the one "santy clause brought me for Christmas when I was around 8 years old.
I had a house in Indiana years ago. The house was 100 yrs old and I have been gone since 1982 (42 yrs ago). Our house was Victorian and had a lot of carved woodwork. The tower on the front of the house went up 2 stories with the glass in the upstairs bedroom being curved. The most interesting thing was the papered ceilings. Some had a couple of layers. What a job to remove all of that! It was a gorgeous place that we spent a couple of years removing all the varnish from the woodwork and remodeling . Then a transfer came up and we left it to the next person to hopefully finish.
This mansion is absolutely gorgeous in the state it is now.....could u imagine how it must have looked a century ago?!?! I wish we could see how it originally looked when General Stone and his family once resided here!!! But this being an historical site definitely should have some kind of funding from the state & county to preserve/fix up this stunning mansion to its original beauty!!
I would definitely spend the entire night in a haunted mansion or anywhere haunted.
I love love a good jump scare
Lol go for it!
Pete What Ever Caused The Death Of The Girl Buried Behind The Basement Wall?
He's not going to tell you. He encouraged his audience to book a tour and let the historian tell them the story of the girl behind the wall. Booking a tour would help them finance the repairs and restorations needed.
The front room in old homes like Victorians is usually the "Parlor"
I hope someone fixes the house 😢
They definitely need to concentrate on the roof/ceilings first. So beautiful. Thanks for the tour.
What is the prove a little girl is buried behind the wall, there must be a story behind it.
The house is beautiful ! But what I don’t understand if a child is buried behind a wall why haven’t the police investigate that that’s very strange to me
The other thing is too why is the power still on who's paying for the power bill
there is no child buried behind the wall. that is made up.
@@user-sy8ft1uh8r some company bought the building to "save" it and producing ghosts hunts to raise funds. It's not haunted like they say. I live down the road from it.
Hello Rick, nice video and thanks for taking us along!
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful! Thanks so much!
When you see the drone footage of the house , it’s remarkable how it makes the modern homes around it look like trash…. This absolute gem
Allowed to decay as these modern flake board houses go up all around it , makes it even more tragic
This mansion is great and does not feel evil either. There are some spirits there and some other spirits that migrated there from other places and truly seems peaceful maybe that is why they are there. Thanks for showing this one. Have a great day and have safe travels
Yes I would most definitely stay there for several nights. I used to do *ghost hunting* and have caught *EVP's, pictures of ghosts, been touched by them, and even heard growling* in an old house we lived in back in the day. I love the paranormal.
Hi Rick. What a beauty! I thoroughly enjoyed this explore and I'm ready to live there!!
Glad you enjoyed it
I would stay there .I had a house that once belonged to the Church ,I had a old lady ghost there as well .When we had the family dog to stay ,he would be growling and barking ,at nothing .
Probably haunted.
I love Victorian style, My grandma had in her house. I always loved the Victorian house in the Mary Tyler Moore show, I don't know about a haunted house At night.... Mmmmm 🧐 beautiful too explore during the day 🌹🙌🏾 at night 🤔 💬
Omg that elecylapedia set is from the early 70s I had that same exact set !!
when you said haunted, i was thinking to myself, no rick, dont do it. then when you caught the shadow it was a slap my forehead moment lol. i didnt see it. im so glad you are not getting into the paranormal. it seems explorers want to move into that direction because its popular right now. there are hardly any good explorers left that dont do ghosty stuff. great job as usual Rick. thank you for showing us this beautiful mansion.
Haha I hear ya. I'm not opposed to doing haunted stuff though. I'm open to just about anything abandoned or haunted.
@@RangerRickTV there is no girl buried in the basement. The tornado did little damage to Stone Mansion. The first floor was a restaurant for many years, the 2nd and third floor were apartments. The wallpaper is not original. This company that bought the mansion tries to fabricate stories to draw ghost hunters in and make a profit. Same thing with the Randolph County Infirmary, Hartford City Hell House or whatever.. they are trying to buy a church in Lynn, IN that Jim Jones went to . They are going to try to turn it into another "haunted" attraction.
I have a singer that was ordered in when America was new,it is a treadle and we bought it from the original family.
You should give details of the girl in the wall as I will never get there to take a tour. Maybe I can do some research on the internet and find out more.
Interesting there is a shower in the basement.Aslo interesting thats where people spend the night.I wouldnt mind spending the night there but I wouldnt want to sleep in a chilly, damp, dreary basement.
This mansion would be a lovely family home. Beautiful history.
Old homes had true craftsmanship you don't have that today mostly prefab cheaply made materials
Amazing!
Fantastic tour of a gorgeous mansion I had never heard of before! Amazing architecture! The people who own it need to set up a fundraising scheme so that people can help with donations. I'd donate. It's close enough that I might even come down and offer to help. I don't have special skills, but I have hands and with direction they might be useful. I'm sure other people out there feel the same.
It's a beautiful mansion, intricate detailing and massive
Very much so.
Rich this is such a beautiful mansion. It has a sad feeling about it.
I would agree with u
My home is haunted, we see shadow figures, hear footsteps, hear whispers and sometimes even hear our names being called. It's all good I don't mind it and I'm not scared either as they don't have permission to torment or attach to me so we peacefully co-exist.
What is the history of the little girl and why was she buried
It's a beautiful building ❤
Yes!
I clicked to damn fast!
I had a scary tyme in my 1st abandon house so a place like this "LAWD HAD MERCY"
And thank you for that fast click lol .
Awesome thank you
You bet!
Interesting history like always, Good tour and views.
Glad you enjoyed it
Creepy I wouldnt sleep in there, but thanks for sharing this place with your subscribers, it was nice to see inside this place👍
Those 1970s country couches scared away your ghost, this house is clean, lol!😂😂👻👻
I'm a certified custom framer and archivist and I just want to preserve and protect every piece in this house!
Look with your eyes, not with your hands.
YES!
Why don't they restore the inside
They don’t have an extra 5 million just laying around is my guess
Looks like they’re doing something with with trucks outside
I didn't see any shadow figure in your video but that's a good thing. They carry malevolence. That's a very beautiful property might I add. Great video
Yeah, I didn't see one either, and I went back to it and stopped it. Nothing.
Not always. Some are just lost and refuse to go into the light.
It’s looks very clean 🧼
Thanks for sharing.
I believe those fire places are cole burning not wood
Love the video. I did not see any shadow figures, which is a good thing. It would've been nice to hear about the little girl's story since most of us could not book a tour.
Awesome, awesome house...! That first room on the second floor gave me the creeps for some reason. Thanks for the video!
I saw those workers homes in the lithograph you showed earlier with the mansion in the forefront. Love this video!
Would LOVE to see that renovated!
Why would they bury a little girl in the basement wall
Beats me.
Bizarre.
That's so strange they not supposed to bury someone in a wall
Is that true? Wouldn’t they remove her and give her a proper burial?
I was waiting for the story about the little girl behind the wall.
Is this house in a "trust", I notice no dust or cob webs?
I do love the built ins & painted walls & more although after seeing the windows in the south from 1800’s the Indiana windows aren’t so beautiful. Double pained is cool though. Is the furniture, art & chandeliers all original? The entrance is A-mazing … love the wood. Also, you would expect a large foyer entrance although, the large foyers, ceilings & windows above doors & down to the ground so easier for opening was only in the South because of the heat (heat rises) in Indiana you’ll notice short ceilings & regular windows. It kept the heat better. Are those the original houses he had built on sides of the mansion?
Thanks Rick for sharing this video of this historic building thanks for getting permission first from the owners or managers I can't stand illegal explores, I hope those people who do illegal explores get caught & are punished severely it's safer & legal to get permission from the owners than to break into an abandoned building or home & share it illegally it's wrong & the people who do it need to be caught, it's sad that this home got hit by a tornado I hope this historic home can be renovated & restored to a beautiful home again it's a beautiful home, it's so sad that that little girl is still buried behind that wall bless her do you know who did it & was the perpetrator punished I'm just asking have you done a video on the history of this mansion, & it's resident ghosts I've had my own ghostly encounters when I was 14 & as an Adult.
That was cruel. I would never make it to see the house. Guess I will make my own story up.
You know what haunts right?
Do tell? Lol
@@TexasBluebonnets22 i am dying, dont bother me,
Who pays the electric bill?
I asked that same exact question why is the story of the little girl not being mentioned as I thought this was the main course of the video/story
Beautiful and should be kept up and protected. They could hire a caretaker older person and give him free rent. 🌿
The tornado just missed our house, and I was so happy the Stone Mansion didn't get destroyed. I never want to go thru that again!
Not supposed to bury a dead person in a wall, their supposed to have a resting place in the cemetery.Very strange.
Are they fixing this house up
Thanks for sharing haunted history of this mansion
Glad you enjoyed it
This place is absolutely breathtaking ❤
I couldn't tell, but it looks like it has some box windows (floor to ceiling windows that would lift up into a pocket above, as a walkout to a balcony or porch).
Let’s spend a whole week there!
Yessss
The marble is carera marble and those are coal burning fireplace. We know the furniture is not original its from 70's n 80's. FYI Im 4'11 not that crazy to me beautiful home i hope they do restore it to its original. Im sure the ghost are not liking the restoration or construction work being done beautiful nule post those hinges are eastlake hinges and door knobs are to so the style of house is eastlake not victorian
Which room was the dining room and I wonder what the original kitchen was plus what did it look like?
Great video
What?? A 5 star restaurant in that place…. Now that I need to investigate.
Yes. In the 1990s they put a restaurant in with a 5-star chef. It unfortunately did not last very long and was reverted to residential when it closed.
@@katethornburg1953 by Michelin standards? Impressive. I’m in Cincinnati where we once had two of them. They are gone now. The Maisonette & Pigall’s
This house looks to have been updated. Furniture and all
Should do a gofundme to help save this place
I am not afraid of ghosts because I don't believe in them. I do believe that our minds do create beings that don't truly exist in reality, but do in our minds. I am afraid of criminals. They are real, and they are the ones that do harm.
Reminds me of the movie the changeling with George C Scott,, boy buried in a well and a house built over it
Doesn't anyone have like a sort of original inside of that house? Lot of people took pictures back in the day. I'd like to see what it used to look like😊
Beautiful❤
Too clean to be abandoned
Hey Rick I live in Indiana And it's not too far of a drive to get there.Maybe with some help I maybe able the tour the mansion in person.
Go for it! Bring your camera 🤳
Slept in an old Manor it was so haunted. Trouble was it was my home. Yup, reguler visits that convinced my new husband gohsts poltergeist are real. In fact it frightened him more than it did myself. !!!. This was so many years ago.
❤❤❤❤❤
Have they ever looked in the wall for the skeleton remains of the little girl as in a x-ray or other machinery?
Honestly, I'd be more worried about the porch roof falling on me than any ghost. That thing looks like one good sneeze would bring it down. ☠
Oh yeas
Never complain about the rain or you may end up in a drought..that's what happened in Cali......
Wow❤
That's nice ❤❤❤
Ted scared the living daylights out of me lol
Idk if i would spend the nite😮. Ya have a care taker but I'm wondering if they have a scare taker 4 those sleep overs?😂 very cool place tho!! Ty 4 the vid!
