Electric stoves are quite cheap to maintain. If you cook 3 times and make 4 to 5 times tea . Then your bill will be around 4 to 5k . But you need special induction cooking pans etc .

Nahi bhai...I believe this is not induction. Junaid said that you can use any utensil for cooking on it. For induction stove, you need specific utensils that have induction plate at the bottom.
Although I'm also not sure if it is infrared or not either. It feels like it is just a coil that heats the surface, which in turn heats the cooking utensil

I am a Doctor from India and i have been using Induction for cooking since my hostel days and still always have one, no issues of any gas at all. I am surprised to see how backward Pakistan is where something that we in India have been using for past 5-7 yrs is just now finding space

Its not about being backwards its about affordability. In Pakistan we have huge electricity shortfalls along with low wages. Combined these factors make electric stoves and geysers uneconomical.
Comparatively Pakistan had one of the biggest natural gas reserves in the world which made gas very affordable but due to mismanagement these reserves have massively depleted leading to this situation where people now consider electric stoves somewhat economically viable as other resources are not only just as expensive but are also easily affected by other market forces.

10 years down the line at least all the basic issues have been sorted out...

Many in Pakistan think that we indians elect modi because of he is hindu nationalist but ground situation is really different, modi is winning because of his economic policies...
