Thank you very much for this recipe! I impulsively bought a big bag of soya chunks from the local organic market near me, but I was not sure what to make with it. And then this video popped up in my list, and I knew I’d like it because I love all the spices and flavors you used in the recipe. So I made it yesterday and my children and I really loved the flavors. We chose to eat it with garlic butter naan with some fresh cucumbers on the side. My husband does not like soy products and won’t eat soy chunks, textured vegetable protein, tofu, or tempeh. He’s not a vegetarian, so he will simply make a meal for himself when we eat soy. Thanks again for all your wonderful vegetarian recipes; you’ve been one of the biggest influences on my cooking in recent years, and it’s made me a better cook.

Hi @ealilmolle3227 , glad to hear you liked my kadai... I use Prestige omega deluxe granite kadai, as it works great for daily cooking. it comes with the glass lid and also has 3 layer non-stick coating which helps to reduce the amount of oil usage.. you can buy here: amzn.to/2fPpQc1
Can I make this without curd? I don't have curd. And if I want to marinate without curd, then can I only put all spices and keep it away for marination for 2 hours?
@@surabhimishra4509😅 Please read my comment again Ms educated person of india. There are few people who are lactose intolerant they can't eat curd. Hope you learn more about nutrition to understand it.
@@surabhimishra4509 Glad to know that Ms Surabhi Ji. But few people keep it discreet they dont mention if they have any intolerance because of judging society of ours. I wanted to give her suggestions to use curd made up of soya milk or use any sort of gravy made of tomato and onion instead.
@@maheshjoshi4564 But, I think no one should hide any kind of deficiency or something ... Infact they should keep the fu*king mentality in the top of their middle finger 😅
I just dont understand that the same ingredients were applied during the time of marination and the same while cooking in the pan. Why so????? But it looks yummy, I am thinking of trying it.
Hey......u mention as 2 table spoon oil...and u put almost one small cup of oil....so when v try this recipe with two spoon of oil it never comes out looking like this...pls stop fooling audience.....
Two tablespoons of oil is usually that much. Don't use teaspoons. Google the difference. I used to have the same problem before. Just increase the oil as you need. No point blaming her. The pot she uses, the heat from her stove is different from the ones of our ordinary homes. She has nothing to gain from fooling us. Experiment. Don't just copy blindly..
Nice and easy to prepare..
If you put garam masala at the end after adding marinated soya , you get a better flavour..

Can you tell me some tips if it becomes more sour due to extra curd so that i can reduce some sourness of it please
hmmm add little bit either tomato ketchup or flour according to taste and consistency.
👍👌
Thanks a lot
What about adding salt ?
Are the soya chunks soaked already?
Easy recipe
Thanks a lot
Which company spices you will used please reply humble request

Because soya chunks are bland and marination helps in making it tasty and juicy.
Noushi.. just try in both way like with and without marinating you could feel the difference in taste❤

Two tablespoon is 30g. That's accurate. I think, u are imagining a tea spoon of oil when u are thinking of tablespoon

Nope.... Without curd is thousands times better. I had tried I knew
Bro that Hing definitely didn’t look like a pinch
Whenever i use curd in my curry it turn in to paneer 😅
Recipe didn’t work for me
Isn't it too much salt!?🙄
Actually curd should not be boiled..i don't understand y many such recipes like this use curd and boil..
It is easy to make but stop fooling the audience
Only soya beans contain protein. Soya chunks is utter waste
