- Psalm 40 ~ David sings praise to God for delivering Him from His horrible and murderous sin. This Psalm is also prophetic, taking us from deliverance from even our worst sins to how Jesus was the sacrifice talked about in the scrolls and took an "open ear"; that is, as a bondservant, an awl would pierce an ear to denote the choice of the slave to stay with his master I believe it is symbolic of One, Jesus, to be pierced to become the bondservant to God, in order God would free us from all our sins, even the worst ones. We thank you, Lord, and Your Holy Son, Jesus Christ, for being the Sacrificial One to save us. We love you, Lord!
As always, I welcome your thoughts and comments ~ we're all learning here. I do not claim to be a theologian or Bible scholar in any way. In fact, the Good News got started because I wanted a deeper understanding of the Bible and prayed about that. Thus, God led me to do these daily devotions, where I have to dig deeper. He has recently gone viral with a short clip of a sermon, but this one, with the theme, "How far behind are you following," is a perfect message for each person to hear, especially a Christian! I encourage you to listen and, perhaps listen again. I am keeping this one on speed-dial!
Would you like to share His Gospel with others? Then I will eagerly support and encourage you! Start by praying and see where you go! Revelations 3:7b, What God opens, no man can shut, and what God closes, no man can open! When we are standing before such a mighty God as this, and His Holy Spirit will be with us, guiding and directing us, we will not fail! Harvesting for God can simply be reading His Holy Word and/or offering personal experiences or wisdom you have learned and earned through your life. Or it could be as creative and imaginative as God sends you ~ maybe even a garage band creating "Garage Gospel"! Remember, benefits are out of this world, in paradise! God bless you, my friend!

Thank you so much for those prayers! She did call tonight and she sounds a bit congested and is still slightly feverish, but things are looking up with SIL and Grandbaby! I know the prayers had to have helped so much! Thank you, Sister! We were thankful to get the call a bit ago. We figured she must be feeling a bit better to call! Amen!
