I just love this understated sultry performance ... her vulnerability is palatable ... a feel a swampy smokey bar vibe .... and then it becomes a soul song ...
This is exactly the right meter (beat) for this song. The TTD'A version is a bit too fast for my taste although I love his voice on it and would love to hear him sing it at this meter.
Cool version. Pity the female backup singers both have better voices than Sheryl. And why do I want to punch that drummer so much? Is it because he counts in slower than he actually starts the song, because his drum kit is gold sparkle and only the kick and snare sound decent, or because of that face he pulls at the end?
I just found out she did this. I LOVE Sheryl but what was she thinking?? the band sucks!! where is her band I've seen her with for years?? I'm gonna blame that POS doyle bramall 3?? his upside down guitar playing is hilarious!
Sheryl your song sucks you may be a great singer i like your song with Kid rock but you got you understand no one duplicate original song even if you sing better then Terence Trent he is the one who get the credit
@Luaeria Give Terence Trent D'Arby credit too now. He wrote this back in 87. It's been covered a bunch but I still think his is the best version. This is good. Should've let Doyle get loose on guitar. He's a bad man.
Her new cd is amazing and this band is the most soulful band ever.
Wow love this version! ♥️🙌

I love the way this song grooves... Sheryl's new album is brilliant.
Great job!!! I really dig this laid back yet PHAT-ASS pocket by the band!!!
I Love Sheryl’s Version. It Sounds Just Like an Al Green Track.
love this song :]
I just love this song and I'm so Happy that Sheryl made the cover! Perfect!!!
She performed this at Opryland Hotel tonight. Nice cover! Great show!
What an angel
like this version of this song, she does so few covers, but when she does, lookout.
sultry sexy sound
49 YEARS OLD AND STILL ROCKING, STILL SEXY.
This song is definitely more than she can handle.
Yeah, it doesn’t fit her at all even though the studio version while not great isn’t this bad
Best version ever you guys are nuts. She’s such a perfect fit for this song . Like it much better than Terrance Trent Darby
@@rockanthemsyeah you need to ask Santa for some ears for Christmas !!!
Love
Uau!
Só imagino a Pri cantando essa na Disney.
@hello4909 Sign Your Name is definitely a big song to tackle.

Her voice and the background vocals are much better

Please Sheryl, Marry me. Your so hot.
Cmon, Im not so ugly.
ok you should listen the original..i love her but...

Nah. She can definitely do what she wants, but the beer song is more her style for sure.
Seems like she forgot a few of the lyrics at the beginning..studio version with JT is much better, although the horns on this are pretty neat.
Not feeling the band in this especially the drummer :/ but the back up vocals are holding this down! Their fire

ouch... way to ruin a perfectly good song.
