    another awesome video.... Do you ever use video lights when shooting real estate video??? if so can you do a video on that!

    • @AndreiRestrepo

      Hey man! Thanks so much. Nope, never have. Just do what I can with the lights the home has whether they’re on or off, and anything else I can do in camera. Thanks for watching!

    Love your content man. What are your thoughts on making a video about - When you knew it was the right time to hire someone, how you felt them out, what you looked for etc.

      Thanks so much man! Definitely a good idea, something I want to make content on for sure! Since I'm still new to the process myself, I want more experience doing this before making content about it. Thanks for watching! Appreciate the idea!

    Helpful Video Andrei ! I'm barely starting up my real estate business and was wondering if i should get a LLC through legalzoom or just wait a little longer. I'm worried about the whole tax situation but really am pushing it to become full time

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man! That’s what I did and it’s been pretty smooth. Def recommend for an easy process to setup your LLC. But if it’s just you for the most part, don’t worry about that right now. Last year I just reported it all as contract work and went fine. But save for taxes! Definitely couldn’t hurt to chat with a tax expert though. Thanks for watching!

      Don’t get an LLC till u can throw away 800 like it’s nothing if you’re in California lol anywhere else it’s cheap for an LLC but here it’s expensive I’m going the dba or articles of incorporation route

    Hello, Andrei. I really like your videos. The knowledge that you share is of great value and I really like your approach to video management, thank you. I recently started photographing real estate in the CIS, people here are not used to paying a lot for advertising real estate, ordering a photographer and taking professional photos that will help with the sale. Please advise me how to find an approach to people, is it worth fulfilling orders cheaply so as not to sit without work and develop my connections with people, or is it better for me not to spread to everyone and expect a client who understands the cost of work and the importance of photos/video for the sale of an real estate? Thank you again, good luck in your development!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I’m sure your market is totally different from mine, so you might have to do different methods. I’d say to still accept any work you can to just start building connections and showing the work you can do. Also see what other people on the area might be charging for similar services to get an idea. Eventually you can start raising your prices and the clients that truly care about your work will stay. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the tips! Can you talk about the systems that you're using to run your RE media business? I haven't seen a comprehensive video about this on YT just yet. In this video you mentioned CRM and delivery system but it would be really nice to have it explained in detail how you integrate all of it.

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man! For sure, that's a great video idea. I'm probably going to be showcasing a new company that I've been working with that is specifically for real estate photographers. Most of this year though, I've been using HDphotoHub! Pretty good for photo delivery + payment wall, and other perks!

      @@AndreiRestrepo I understand how HDPH and Aryeo work and what they offer, but I’m also interested in the other systems you use to run the business side of a RE media company. Your CRM, your mail campaign software, social media, bookkeeping, etc. What’s the full suite?

      @@AndreiRestrepo I checked out the photo up website. This is a huge help. I'm starting out in Real Estate Photography myself, I'm currently working as a contractor for a company known as HomeJab. The good thing is they don't make sign a non compete contract and you can still work on your personal business. I started out last year doing model homes, I found this to be a great way to practice and build a portfolio which is why HomeJab hired me. Thank you again man. I watch your content it has encouraged me a lot.

    Great Info! sounds like you found success and could make a living only about 6 months in? if your already outsourcing. how where you able to get soo many clients so fast lol theirs allot of competition in my country. Did you start learning videography also 1 year ago or did you have a background/education in it? it does seem like you also you have a big network with your social media which may help allot. Did you do allot of free work for agents

      Hey Mat! Even though I didn’t go on my own until just last year, I have been in the real estate space for about 5+ years now. Whether I was working for a real estate team or a real estate photo company, slowly building up connections which helped out a lot! I’ve been doing video now for about that long as well. And while real estate was my main source of income, I was still doing other types of photography and video like weddings, portraits, other client work that helped as well when I first went off on my own. Thanks for watching!

    Andrei, are you paying your photographer hourly? by the service? salary?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mike! Great question. Currently I’m on the model of paying them by the service! Basically a percentage of whatever service package they do since they don’t do any editing as well. Thanks for watching!

    Great content. I launched my business last June but it's currently a side hustle as I am scared to make the full time plunge! How much approximately does your CPA cost? I have a meeting scheduled next month with a CPA because like you I have not quarterly taxes 🤪😅😅 but thankfully I took courses on the matter so I knew to be saving for it lol

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! So I set up my business through Legal Zoom and got the tax package as well. The handle your taxes and have access to a CPA whenever. Need to check on the cost, I believe it varies. Thanks for watching!

    Awesome content! Can you do a video where you more specifically get into pricing and how you pay your photographer? Are they a full-time employee? Or do you just hire them on a project by project basis? I've outsourced editing now and again but I'm wondering what's more cost-effective as well as tax purposes. Should I have my editor fill a w-2? Thanks!!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Yeah, I haven’t made any additional videos on it since I’m still figuring it out myself. But yes, per project basis as a contractor. He has filled out a w9 and I will issue him a 1099 at the beginning of next year for taxes.

      Just wasn’t the best for me! All day on weekends, constantly having to find new couple to work with, too much fluctuation in income, tons of editing, travel. RE is a lot more stable, local, regular work hours, less editing time, consistent clients, just worked out a lot better for me!
