How can you crest little clips like that after the mask has been set? It looks so much easier and you can edit it more after you see what the lasso tool grabbed

I hope this helps a little and glad to inspire. I like Photoshop too, but I really think illustrator is perfect for simple collages. I might do some PS tutorials in the future too.
