lol i still to this day havent maxed my warmaiden and khatun and i will be getting scyl in a few days... there were ALWAYS better options... oke, i got lucky with my first pulled epic dhukk the pierced, so warmaiden fell out of favor there and since i had bolster gear from the forge pass, i didn't concentrate on speed, just pure tankiness. UDK was the best champion to max third in that regard. in arena i never stopped climbing from the start until around 3300 points in gold 5.

One thing I'd mention to new players - for the campaign farmable champs like Warmaiden, you can farm extra copies to apply to her skills in place of books. Save the books for champs you cannot farm.

I took Athel and didn't regret it. Having big weaken on a solid rare has been nice. There's a green that you can use early on for poisoning.
I also love the 3 attacks on A1
Much love for High Khatun. So many people overlook her usefulness.
yeah, skipped her for Apothecary - giving in the destiny of drawing him at that point... still dont have her at 17 60ies... and dont think she will make first 20...

Ash , one of the very first rares I pulled when I first started was Crimson Slayer . I almost ate her but decided to build her. I'm glad I did.
Yeah, she's a hidden gem of a champ. Multiple sleeps on her basic, a strong aoe attack, and a strong single foe attack with serious Turn Meter reduction.
@@rocketraccoon1976 I agree 100 % . She is better than some of my leggos and has come in very handy in most areas of the game . I also got lucky today and pulled Magnarr. Man I can't wait to see what he can do.
I agree with this - these three were among my first four level 60s as well (with Reliquary Tender being shoved in as my 2nd 60 after Elhain but before Warmaiden and High Khatun) all those years ago. I still had Warmaiden at 60 before I got High Khatun at all, though - I was very diligent at campaign farming in those first thirty days.

So hard to stay with a set plan. Within the 1st week, I was lucky enough to pull Kalvalax from an ancient and Ma'Shalled from the 1st sacred I earned. I didn't wait and threw everything at them along with Kael. Lots of moving gear around because I had no clue what I was doing. Tons of info out there but sometimes tricky to sift through it all. Never thought I'd be at a point where I am feeding ColdHeart but I have like 6 on my account. 2 I use in many dungeons. Been a wild 😜 🤪

It depends on pulls . I went with galek , he never made it past 50 . My first 2 void pulls were Madame serris and tuhak. So I didn't go the typical kael/warmaiden route, my high khatun is also still lvl 40 3 years later 🤣

I feel like a good beginner video topic would be about the language and the acronyms we use as players and as clan members. That can be intimidating for new players who are trying to learn new things.

I've maxed Athel, Elhain, Warmaiden, and High Khatun, and the only ones I still use are Elhain and High Khatun both in faction crypts, and Elhain also for rare secret rooms. I've found that between the Elhain I have on my main account (lvl 84) and the Athel on my alt account (72) I NEVER use Athel or Warmaiden. Instead, on my rares, I use Reliquary Tender, Felhound, Bellower, Coldheart, and Apothecary.
Here is another option: Elhain should be your starter. She has by far the fastest speed at 107 which is important in arena as well as clearing waves in content. Just build her for speed and damage and farm spirithost to get the speed aura, keep her at lvl 30 until you get elhain to 60. save up 800 gems to get the masteries and another 800 for your second champ you get to 60. You will be wasting a lot of time and make inefficient use of energy trying to farm scrolls in the minotaur dungeon at lower stages. keep your influence low(by not opening shards unnecessarily or lvl non food champs) to get better arena match-ups. build up your great hall while winning medals in the arena which will increase your stats to clear content. I would not worry too much about clan boss. My 60 elhain on day 27 can do about 1.9 million damage on easy by herself. you eventually get a crappy shield set use it on a support champ, it helps mitigate damage. you will get all the materials and books you need by completing quests, challenges, tournaments and events. Unfortunately I was not lucky enough to get Red Sonja - Warmaiden but I did get Valerie.
As a 2 year old player myself, I still use Kael in dragon 24(for affinity) and clanboss unm 2 key. He hits for 8-9 mil to unm boss without Inc atk and in lifesteal gear.
Also, I won't bother about arena this early in the game, eventually you will get far btr arena champs. In arena go for real nukers like Magnarr,baron, hephraak,trunda etc etc. A level 60 elhain built for arena will fall real fast in even 2-3 months into the game. Nukers are far easier to get your hands into . As a new player I would rather focus dragon for speed, lifesteal, accuracy gears and here kael is easily the best.
And yes, clan boss is the most important part of the game as it gives everything,from shards,books to potions everything. For everyone, building a good clanboss team asap shd be the first priority. I'm saying this from pov of someone who didn't give clanboss enough importance early game.

But these days arena is super easy, and in gold tier player power doesn't matter. It only matters in silver and bronze tier.
I personally came to gold tier with a high khatun, kael, war maiden, scyl team 😂😂😂
Back in the day arena was super hard, like way too powerful teams even in bronze 1. But right now PPL can easily come to gold tier and player power won't matter at all... Now I hv arbiter uugo Magnarr etc and i never ever fall off from gold 5 😂😂😂
Also, I can't reason with what you meant by you didn't get warmaiden... She is farmable from stage 9 of campaign i guess, no need to pull shards and wait for your luck imo.

I just started playing, I choose Kael, and I got Deaxon Armstrong, From my limited knowlegde of the game it seems like I should focus on Armstrong second ? also should I still build Warmaiden and Khatun?? Armstrong gives the lead speed and do debuff like warmaiden - I hope you see this and can give some advice.
I wish I would have watched these videos before beginning Ninja era..took a break but came back for Ronda and am now fully F2P but when I was spending money I was only wanting legendary...so I Sacrificed alot of good epics to 60 Ninja...Like Seer for one...she has alot of use...but at least I kept Hotatsu, and Skullcrown...I also have Crypt Keeper Graal and Sicia Flame Thrower and Ronda as legendaries...still i regret not farming food and sacrificing epics like Seer
have been watching ash for 2 weeks, everyday 5 videos, getting advice, and the first time I played, last year, I didn't understand the game, so I deleted it. Now, ash his videos helping me, I got in 2 weeks my total strength up by 100K atleast. Am playing on this new account for 29 days, getting High Khatun tomorrow
For new players what is the best way to keep track of all the champions for different areas in the game, dungeons , faction wars, campaign runs and all the other stuff.
Use the Saved Teams feature for everything except Faction Wars.
Build one saved team for general campaign farming, other teams for specific campaign/dungeon locations with troublesome affinity/skill foes, one team for each dungeon, and one team for campaign boss.
Use the programmed actions within the Saved Team feature to remember the quickest way to defeat a location.

No, same feature. Team Setup icon on any Dungeon, Campaign, Clan Boss, Doom Tower battle screen. They give you 15 Saved Team Presets.

On my second F2P alt account, I used the referral link that gave Juliana. I maxed, Elhain, UDK, and her in that order in the first month and I was doing 6-8 million damage on Hard CB by the time I hit 50 and stopped playing the account. Never got High Khatun (since I did it in 28 days). Never tried Kael, but Elhain is definitely an easier campaign farmer to build than Athel. (My first referral account was a giant pain.) I might try Kael, but he doesn't seem that great if you have access to another poisoner.
edit: And while Elhain is a bit harder because you need to go to 100% crit, she's a lot easier because you can ignore accuracy.
That's a good list for a new player. But I've been playing for a year and a half and near the start I got Elhain, but only recently got Galek, and still don't have the others. I feel like the Mercy System hasn't very merciful in my case. When I use any type of shards, 90% of the time I get the same ones over and over, and getting anything really good is rare. Usually the weakest rarity you can get from a shard. I did get a couple of Leggos, but most of the 8 that I have came from give aways.
I think that, as a guide for beginners, you could have emphasised the need to have enough speed a bit more. It's an easy thing to overlook but one of the things that will help progress more than almost anything else. Getting your early champs to around 170-180 makes a massive difference even if you sacrifice not having 100% crit initially. For warmaiden I would go for survivability, accuracy and speed early on over crit rate personally. I might also not take her to 60 given the sheer number of defence down champs there are out there now.
Unrelated but I was playing and though to ask. I've heard you say before that fusions ren't great, does that account for all of them or are any decent? Every time I try and train it away the games like 'but fusions'
As a preposition, vis-à-vis is used to compare things. So, if you want to compare the food you've eaten today with the calories you burned working out, you might talk about your caloric intake vis-à-vis caloric expenditure. You can also use it to say that you're facing something or are opposite something.
So I'm 60+ days in. I haven't built a debuffer. I have Warmaiden, Armina and Suwai Firstborn. Which would you choose?
And do I really need one still? Cuz I'm doing NM clanboss, 23 dragons lair, 19 ice golem, 13 spiders den & 13 fire knight without one.
And since my focus is to get into UNM clanboss or further in spiders den, I'm not sure which to choose - if any.
Currently have ultimate deathknight, apothecary, drexthar, orn and kael in NM cb. With toragi the frog and frozen banshee as possible substitutes I'm leveling up.

This wouldn't even come close to what I've done given how the card were enveiled for me.
I started with Elhain and in the first weekend I played I bought a small pack with that sacred shard in it, just to try it out. I happened to get Mother Cybele of of that sacret shard right away, so with a legendary, Elhain and Sniper in the pocket I was rampaging through campaign and dungeons like a relatively unkillable bossman. Mother Cybele's revive on death, her increable tankness and her A1 being an AOE, paired with Elhain's 2x AOE's and Sniper who I more so by accident made into a speedgod (further acelerated by Cybele was basically my cor team for pretty much anything I did. I couldn't even tell you who my fourth teammember really was, but by th time I was able to rank up champions to 6*, those three were it and in that order.
yo the idea is good but how the flip do you get warmaiden what atrotities is this ive been grinding for a while and is there like a stage where you have the most chances in getting warmaiden
my high khatun still sitting at 50, i think you can keep her there & hopefully by the time you are getting her you have gotten lucky and gotten at least 1 good pull. With the amount of def down epic's now I think it might also be best to just get war maiden to 50 as well and leave her there which is where mine sits too. Definitely kael first 60 though. Early on getting 60's is so tough so I think it's better to focus on the first good epic you get instead throwing books there. Though also hopefully nowadays most people starting the game are using one of the good promo codes with awesome epics around. Syl is an excellent 60 once you get her though as her versatility is so great.
I have kael at 4 stars and I have epic lightsworn, mordecai so far on my team plus I am planning on getting tali and lady qun soon. Are they any good and which should I max out?

For crowd control in the Arenas, if you have no one better, consider Warchanter (Orc Uncommon).
Stun debuff on his basic, and an AOE attack with both Decr. Attack and Provoke Debuffs. Easy to max out his skills using dupes. Take him to level 50 and he'll help tremendously in early Arena if you've got no one better.
I think this is EXACTLY what I did when I started. And I fully agree with every word.

Are healers necessary for raids? I started a few days ago and my current squad is kael, warmaiden, spirithost, and diabolist. How is my team comp at the moment? Currently grinding campaign out tryna reach 12-3 on brutal.
Warmaiden is great! But honestly after a while, you won't be using her much. There are many decrease defense champs out there. Many of them have other buffs/debuffs along with it, and are more tanky. I'd say lvl 50 is enough for both Warmaiden and High Khatun.
True enough, but I took both to 60 and along with scyl, soulbond bowyer(lvl 50) and shieldguard(lvl 50) cleared barbarians fw on my main acct. I continue to use them, but it takes awhile especially with sbb and sg constantly dying.
@@usagi3919 Haha I have the exact same team for faction wars! My Warmaiden, Khatun and Bowyer are lvl 50. Scyl and shieldguard are 60. Shieldguard with lifesteal just kills it in FW. Love him!
I might replace Bowyer soonish. Whenever i get a good Barbarian. Or if I get Yakarl first. Lets see
or if you have bad luck she stays your one and only till you get Aleksandr - and even then... never regreted maxing her survivability...

I'm a very end game player and just started 2 new ftp accounts and I have been struggling with spreading my lself too thin as well, I think being an end game spender just gets us too accustomed to an abundance of resources, and stream lining ones focus is necessary, early game and especially as a ftp
Im new and idk which one should i prioritize Kael or Ronda?
And also im torn between Pain keeper, Mistress of hymns, Grinner or the Warpriest idk which one should i max first. I couldn't pull a support that heals and revives. Mistress does both but her skills are ATK base. My tank is Vergies. Help me put. Tyvm

dude elhain surprises me like im pulling into the arena with 6 star fully booked ma'shalled, deacon armstrong with like 280 speed, helior for the aoe shield and then seer for that kickass nuke that shits on the enemy team and even if they survive they go to sleep so i can just hit them again, and elhain just slaps everyone with the a3 killing ma'shalled with like no effort at all and then finishes with an a2 that shits on the rest of my team, honestly underrated
Kale, warmaiden then go farm spirt host for your speed lead, block debuff and cleanse, and get multiple copys for faction gaurd to boost her and kale... just a thought

I go with Keal. Make sure to give him crit gauntlets and speed boots. Then seek other nukers champions and give crit gauntlets and speed boots.
FYI- as of this month, we did not get lifesteal starter gear. I think it's all the stuff theyre putting out for Loki- but... yeah :/

I need Ash to look at my account and hook me up with who to max over the next 5 cycles or something. Currently I'm torn between Ronda, Husk, Shatter ones, Demytha (spelling?), Fellhound (campaign), Sinesha, Maeve (Sand Demon, though I do have Muckstalker 6* maxed), plus several others. I am not necessarily new, I've been playing for a year and I have 18 Legos maxed and 50+ 6* champs. I need to figure out so much and they just keep adding to this stupid addicting expensive goddamn game lol. Anyone with actual advice would help wonders but I almost never respond to these things so if you don't want to waste your time then it's all good. But Ash, you're dope dude. Keep grinding.
Also I am aware that it depends on my currently maxed roster, and I'm not feeling like typing all that out but I do have a top 10 set of champs and I'll go ahead and do that. Duchess (MVP), Ninja, Mountain King, Visix, Cupid, Royal Guard, Scyl (I really need more resurrection champs, bad bad), Deliana, Deacon, and Geomancer. I have plenty more, I was just giving an array of my favorites and most used. I do currently have enough to put someone up to 6*, and I'm currently working on the next group of food, however I did use some food to upgrade Sinesha along with two others, which took away all of my 4* food and I'm a little depressed about it. One last question of advice, does Fellhound need to have all masteries to be a decent campaign farmer? Kael can do 12-3 in 28 seconds and it takes too damn long so I really want to work on the hound dawg. Thanks again fellas

If I start an account with a legendary duchess, should I max the starter or the legendary character first?
High Khutan was not my first Epic, but I got her after my first month in the game.

If i got apothecary and high khatun who should i max first?
There are so many poisoners in this game, I think Kael is now bottom tier along side Gallek.
I Got Kael to 50, then a better poisoner came along, never used him since. 2 months old.
Minotaur needs to go up to 25 or at least 20. It is waaaay too long to farm scrolls.
Kael isn't a bad choice still tho. Took him to 60, ascended and full masteries, and he was able to help my clanboss team to get to nightmare. Putting in 4-5 mill per run.
Plus he isn't just clanboss focused. He's stayed in my arena team to get me to gold 2 tier. Along with my dragon lair & ice golem 20 teams. 12-3 brutal solo campaign farmer. Doom tower + secret rooms. Dont have to change masteries or artifacts either.
The reason I say this is you could stop leveling kael at 50 and choose a better poisoner, but I'd make sure that replacement can help in as many areas as kael.
I have orn and frozen banshee who do well in cb and dungeons, but are below kael in terms of covering all content. Specifically arena. Dunno who your poisoner is now, but none that I've pulled do better than kael in arena. And that's in clan boss masteries and lifesteal+perception set.
Not saying it's wrong to do what you did tho. I would consider it too! Totally depends which poisoner you get and what purpos(es) u want them to serve.
I also try to minimize leveling up champs that end up sitting, if I can help it. To be resource efficient. Even if he gets replaced on my main teams, which is inevitable, he would still do well in 3v3 arena when spec'd for it.
Also getting your first lvl 60 helps ur account more than having a few level 50s. So essentially it would take nearly twice as long for u to get your first lvl 60.

Ya I got frozen banchee to 60 instead. He is way too underrated.
@@dnaseb9214 ya I have frozen banshee leveled up now. She's great in clanboss and dragons lair. In my opinion though, kael is a better champ to use in more areas of the game. This depends who you get as you level up as a new player, of course. But he's just below frozen banshee in clanboss, I'd say equal in dragons lair and better than her in arena for sure.
Going kael to 60 first got me to nightmare clanboss (4-5m damage), 20 dragons lair and gold 1 arena. Also the resources I put into him didn't get wasted.
Don't get me wrong though, frozen banshee is amazing. And better than kael for clanboss, which should be top priority for new players.
My point is "bottom tier" to describe kael is extreme, imo. He won't get u to UNM clanboss (I don't think he can anyway), but 4-5million damage in NM cb is pretty solid.
And frozen banshee won't get ur team to gold 1, for certain. She is a "better poisoner" though! Definitely does more with her kit. It mostly comes down to single target vs aoe damage. And u would prefer aoe in arena.

i spent 190 replays in that lvl 3 of the campaign and still didnt get the champion , does it only drop in higher stages ?

I never maxed my Warmaiden. In the middle of building her...I pulled Deac. I threw everything into him instead. Never looked back. Poor Warmaiden.

I have a question about that third champion, I used a code and received Deacon Armstrong, and from your videos he is really good.
Would it make sense for me to focus on Deacon Armstrong rather than High Kahtun?

@carsten jensen well while I wait for someone to answer me I'm gonna say that I think it's worth it because it seems the only purpose of High Kahtun is to manipulate combat speed, and I think Deacon does a better job at that. But I might be wrong

I chose elhain but Kael is just better, unless you get Frozen Banshee early then dragon is gonna be a pain in the ass. And Kael actually does real good damage in arena
I think you can keep Warmaiden and High Khatun at level 50. I beat the barbarian's FW crypt with them at 5 stars. Apothecary, if you get him early on, is a better option to take to 60.
I agree! They both are good. But there are many better champions out there. Especially by the time you're 6 starring multiple champs.
The game doesn't give a decent tutorial on things like speed and accuracy. It's tutorial is basically: here are 4 champs to choose from, here are shards to get your champs, here is the campaign map, put some gear on your champ, and go on your merry effin way.
