Thank you for all your prayers and emails . We are doing great ...and still have power ..the beautiful beaches we goto are under water and not able to access probably for a couple of weeks 😢 praying for everyone . Our old city Hendersonville NC was hit pretty badly with 1000 year rain fall ..lots of flooding ..sink holes and damage . Praying ❤

Good morning Amy Didyou know that storing onions next to potatoes causes the potatoes to sprout quickly because of the gases given off by the onions .Maybe the divided tray will help a bit?I don't know for sure.They usually say a cool dry place. Are you kidding me??? That fridge is AWESOME!! I thought I was seeing things; had to roll the video back. That's the best! I know what you mean about you have to do what works for your family, not what's conventional. I have very limited storage in this home and so I put two tall plastic open shelf units in the dining room and those are my spillover pantry. And across the room? A GIANT homeschool desk that holds books, printer, supplies, and no one really uses it as a desk, but more of a sideboard. My giant homeschool sideboard. 😅

I love the new refrigerator and the convenience of it. Do what works for you. Before everyone wanted “ open concept “ floor plans, only the people that lived in the house and family knew your kitchen layout. Company was at the dining room table or the living room. I bet more would be jealous than judgmental.
I think the coffee cart should stay in front of the window
The baking cart on the wall ,It takes up less space going in and out of
the back door. Just saying
can't you lock the wheels so it doesn't move every time you open the door?
How about a breakfast bar with cofffee and toaster over in that nook where you moved the big cabinet from butlers area
The baskets that come with the containers are designed to take away any moisture so that it’s not sitting in water and making it go off quicker. Check what gases certain veggies and fruits give off. Cause they can make things go off quicker
Get a Shed for the bikes that's what we did

I used to get perms and that’s what the scent was for the perm. The pork butt should fall apart when it’s done. If not, it’s not done. I cook plenty of them.

We have 2 kids, my husband and me. We have another extra chest freezer in garage which we buy food that is grocery on a great sale. Also my kids come to grocery shop. I don't mind. It's taking care of them and they do small for me.😊

I think it would look nice above the door, your thankful sign. how about turning the little cart with toaster flat facing the kitchen? Will you ever change the white fridge panels to match the rest of appliances? Did you just put the pork in with or without seasoning?
We acquired two refrigerators over the last two years with a family friend moving out of state and my SIL upgrading her fridge so now we have 3 refrigerators, which is bonkers! But one in the garage for food I don’t want kids to eat 😂 and other two inside have seriously been a game changer for our family! Blessed! Sending Love! 🖤
Hi Amy!....we have 2 fridges and an upright in the kitchen family area. I do have a spare fridge in the garage but it's not convenient to get to it we don't have access through the house to the garage. So that's used for some overflow and drinks and especially parties and stuff. So there's 5 of us adults here too. 3 daughters are married with kiddos and when we get together we need all the fridges.
I have learned , change can be good. Its hard when we get older. For me moving from a house to an apartment. I needed to make it work. I made pantry storage, one from a bookshelf fir all my dry goods, and larger canned and bottles. The other is 2 kitchen wall cabinets, stacked on each other with 2 legs at the bottom. Screwed to the wall. Plenty of storage for cans and bottles.
I also keep all sodas and waters in an old mini fridge. And store the cases on top for refilling.
If you still have a fridge on the garage, store all water and sodas there. The new fridge works great for all your fruits and vegetables and the milk and eggs. Great idea.
We only had the fridge with a freezer. So recently I bought a 3.5 cubic chest freezer. Now I can store all meats seperate. Leaving the small freezer for fruits and leftover meals. And a few containers of freezer jam. Have a great weekend. Stay safe.
I have done the clear container in my fridge to put the fruit in. It's been very handy. I put the potatoes in the bottom bin in the fridg. I'm in Orlando. Potatoes definitely rot fast if not in the fridge. I keep onions in an open metal basket on the counter but in a dark corner. They seem to last a long time. If I buy a bunch, I chop them up and stick them in double bags or containers in the freezer. Don't put your potatoes and onions together. They have chemicals that make each other rot. Hope you are doing ok through the storm.
Mrs Amy, whenever you have watermelon that's not very tasty, turn it into watermelon lemonade. Add to the blender, add some lemon juice and if you need sugar add to taste. Ps, I know not everybody is kind but can we get a basic idea on how the older kids are doing without going into detail because I know since people aren't nice on here.

Good morning. I love the fridge in the kitchen. See through even better. I saw that it moved a couple of times, I am sure there are locks on the wheels, and you have already done it, but just in case. With eliminating the other fridge/freezer from garage, so you have room for all the bread you just got plus whatever meat you are getting at Sams? I know you are high away from coast, but water still collects in the yard, I hope you are all safe and not too much devastation around y'all. I have stainless steel shelves just out in my kitchen because my house is old and it is the only pantry I could come up with. I think the fridge looks great. I know it will make life so much easier. I’m enjoying these video and I hope you are getting much deserved rest

I have lived in Florida for 15 years and do not have to put my onions and potatoes in the fridge.
That's interesting .we never did and when we moved here i stored them how we used to and they went bad fast .so taking advice from other Floridians and now they don't go bad.. maybe you don't need to buy as much as we do and you use yours up quicker ?
Put your onions in one draw and potatoes in other in white fridge.
You don't need to see them. This way in you new refrigerator you have things to grab and go. I would put apples ECT in the ice maker draw you took out on top shelf in new refrigerator.
Also meat you pull out to use in drawers
Love that you put the new refrigerator in the kitchen. It's all about what helps make the flow of the day better. I have 2 refrigerators and 3 deep freezers in our kitchen due to our large family of 9 sometimes 12.
