On that wall you can make a balcony so you can still see into the villager breeder if you wanted and then under the balcony you could add just some barrels and chest for decoration that would be so cute
Im not a builder like you, I stick to cube houses or cave bases. But when I make a river or lake feature, I make it either 2 or 3 blocks deep and put a glowstone (or other light source block) IN the wall to light up the water at night. You obviously don’t need to do that, but if you want a different look to your place 🤷🏼♂️
About moving villagers. They remember 3 things. Those are locations of their job site, bed and village meeting point. So the job block is affective only during their work time else he wants to reach the other two locations.
i saw that lava falling and was like, oh no she didn't notice did she XD the first time you load a new chunk in the nether, lava source blocks start falling, they don't load in fully fallen

For the side of the villager breeder, you might use oak trapdoors with azalea leaves and cherry blossoms to make a trellised climbing vine look.
