I danced Kilkenny at 72 for years - it was the only "hornpipe" set I ever dance. I performed it from age 13 -23. And we had lots of "horsey" elements too. To me, its the best set dance for interpretation of the title! Good performance from this young man, although I felt it was a little crowded in the 3rd part of the set. He's got great feet though - just add a few "horse" jumps (rolling side clicks) and you will be set!
It's funny how no one is commenting that he filmed this during a competition and no one is giving yet on the girl mikaelas set they're giving out like hell who cares if u filmed it no one cares
I think the choreography is so clever !! Imitating a horse with dance moves !! By far the best set and dancer I've ever seen !! 💥🎉👏🏽💝

His moves were so modern and intricate yet he made it look so easy!
It's A wonder they don't have trouble with their leg joints later in life
