I watched as they continued to miss or either do little damage. I prayed as his health began to drop down to three. The last mage missed by chance, and I sobbed in joy as the ship moved back over and I was able to rescue him. I nearly lost him that day...
Still total bullshit that you don't get the kids. Make them adopt kids that look like them or make some dragon-gate-alternate-reality magic thingy happen and get a Kana and Nina from a world Corrin and Niles died or something. That would make for interesting supports!!
Both the JP and NA voices imply he has a...dirty mindset. But I recall one of his JP "My Room" quotes reveal he has nightmares of his past, is glad Kamui/Corrin will be next to him if they come again, and asks for their hand while he sleeps and that they never let go of him.

Niles is one of the best new FE characters . On par with the older games for sure . Also he is a pretty good unit and his supports are readable . And I like his supports ( haven't play rev so don't know bout his hoshidian supporters ) I even enjoy his with corrin .

Nina is a great unit . Her paralouge gives good loot , she has thief utility and can heal . Also she is super fast . I married niles and Elise . She became my best healer and was a god with the shining bow and I could give her a silver bow and she would lose 2 str and skl but I just go back to the shining bow and I'm fine

In the chapter where you are on your way to Hoshido Via boat, the boss of this level is Shura. Shura is an adventurer at level 10 using bows and rods. Once you beat him you have the option to either kill him or spare him. If you spare him he joins you and you get a pretty damn good archer/thief other than niles.
Him and his daughter are my favorite characters in that game and you're right they're pretty damn good with bows but as I recall if you do marry him with the male Avatar they adopt Nina don't they it's been a long time since I played this game maybe I'll check
Him having a bow and the ability to pick locks in Fates is what makes him such a great as a unit. His Personality and backstory is pretty cool too, its just sad the only thing people notice is his sexuality.
Niles is... interesting in my army. in the amount that I've used him, he was always useful, an amazing mage slayer, and had the tendency to survive the occasional mishap I derived. yet his personal skill I never really used because this is conquest, I don't have time to get some no-named loser and rank up when I might lose Niles to one of the good ones. I adore his dialogue and his support with Elise makes me smile.
