- Streamed Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 -- It has been a mixed bag in the Champions League so far. Now we play Chelsea twice to see if we have what it takes to threaten for a European knockout place. I feel like our Dorfers have gotten a handle on the domestic league in FM22, but the bright lights of Europe seem to be a bit too much. This is our chance to change all that today.

I love Z, but this has been a thing forever in FM. You cannot do that many individual talks. The players getting pissed is representing them tuning you out because they see that these individual comments arent actually unique or constructive for them.

1x WC2022 simulation part1 (Wednesday, 13th April) - the group stage with Clive commentary (not based on IRL, as qualifying was also simulated).
1x WC2022 simulation part2 (Friday, 15th April) - finishing the groups and complete knock-out stage
1x FMSS draft (Wednesday, 27th April)
1x Network Game (Thursday, 28th April)
Saturday & Sunday will be the FM Streamer Showdown (league and playoff). Start time on Saturday at around 2PM EST, 7PM BST, 20.00 CET.

The Chelsea game will go down in history as probs the best underdog team in a UCL game in Zealand’s FM career. The curse on the new stadium is lifted for sure!!!
The game hates Zealand's tactics, I've never seen a team miss more high xg chances and 1v1s.
You need really elite strikers to finish chances in FM well, even then you'll miss loads of chances and the AI seems to score with far less XG, most of my title challenging or title winning teams I'll have more XG then goals or around my XG, but the next best AI team massively outperforms their XG. Strikers with like 14/15 finishing and composure like he has will just miss chances again and again.

I am certain amongst the Red Bull organisation you are despised after Rejecting Lepizig and toppling Salzburg.
This many seasons into Austria is where it started changing for me too in FM21 (started 2nd tier with Wacker). After about five seasons of splitting cups and shields with Salzburg suddenly had a season where Austria Vienna won league, I was 2nd, Salzburg 3rd.

Yesterday I lost 4-0 to Lazio in the CL whilsf out-xG'ing them.
I have Nathan Collins, who plays pretty much every single match every season and still is not happy with playing time for the last 3 or 4 seasons.
Important player, possibly best CB in Serie A, plays 30-35 games a season in the league.
I just ignore it.

Nothing wrong with using in-game editor with blatantly broken BS like playing time, imo. I did it all the time in FM21 when my first-teamers were throwing hissy fits after missing too many domestic league matches (in Ireland!) just because I needed them fresh for European fixtures and didn't want them to play 2-3 matches a week every week. Hope this feature gets a massive rework in future FMs.
I wish they would add the option to donate to the fm gods in game to increase our luck 😉

The start save file, the setup was uploaded to the steam workshop. Zealand also uploads the final save file at the end of the save for anybody to continue. There are usually no in-between save uploads.

You just need to hit continue and it will disappear. Alternatively, if you go to TRANSFERS and hit cancel transfer in there it should disappear immediately actually.

Ulrik and Marcel Baran have an agreed playing time of impact sub. Season starts both have a few appearances. Then they both complain they don't play enough, and it says they have Youngster playing time, which is already buggy, as they had a few games and Youngster means they didn't play at all as it is the lowest possible playing time.
But Z decides to now play them as starters at almost every game. The playing time status stays on Youngster though, no change at all from Youngster, which is the second indication that something is wrong in the game. So, Z decides to continue playing them as starters mostly.
Then comes the time their promise for more playing time is running out. Ulrik is shown as still on Youngster playing time, while Baran's has changed to Impact sub (although they played most games and as starters, so the playing time probably should be around squad player or even regular starter, so many-many levels above Youngster). But at least Baran's has moved, but Ulrik's hasn't. And Ulrik has even played more games.
This is clearly a bug and the game is cheating Zealand, not Zealand the game. It is not about making it easier but that it is a clear issue that something is wrong that can and should be corrected as it negatively impacts the game for Zealand and us, and he can't do more about it without the editor, then he has done already. He can't do more then play Ulrik regularly, which he did.

This with in-game editor is super disappointing to see from a FM pro.
We explained it to you before and it is only a game. Nothing disappointing about it, Zealand was really transparent about it. It is a bug.
