I love brown, pink, and cream for a blanket…Neapolitan ice cream colors for a girl blanket. For a boys blanket, I crocheted my nephew a blanket that had a little bit of a circus feel to it using a light green, teal, and orange.
Good morning. Love the lacy scarf. In answer to your question, about 1/2 a cup of salt to a washing machine load , or a heaped tablespoon to a basin of water.
In general, when crocheting lace, my tip is to give the pattern time to develop before you make a decision on whether to finish or frog. So many times the first few rows look a little wonky or messy, and as you go the beauty of the pattern starts to show itself.
I love crocheting lace, although I use crochet cotton, sizes 10 and 20, so I use very tiny hooks. I am tempted to adapt your blanket pattern to a shawl size for a healing shawl. I think it would be lovely.
Thanks for chiming in on colors!! I didn’t think about pink and grey! The cross stitch is going well! Just 3 more squares!! I have one, the others drop in the next 2 weeks!

Yes!! This is such a great tip!! The scarf pattern I showed in the video was that way!

Oohthats such a great idea for that stitch pattern. I’m hoping to have the blanket pattern out later this year!
Lovely colors that blue blanket! For girls baby blanket I am partial to pink and grey. How is your cross stitch project going?
